We’ve had a lovely time and delicious food and I don’t think I need to eat until about Friday.

Home now and in my pjs with a , then hayloft for my Christmas treat with the HBFs.

Greetings from snot-land. Dr Athos needs to provide more special medicine. Bloody typical timing, and absolutely full of the cold and wiped out.

Did have a thoroughly entertaining and completely illogical dream involving Elk and TB though. I went to the Post Office to buy an air mail stamp, Elk was in front of me in the queue and then I had to wait while she sorted out a new website about TB and he approved the content (from the other side of the PO Counter) including pictures of all his costumes... and this was going to be his official website so I was very impressed. And also very WTF?! when I woke up

Bleurgh though - this cold can do one. Am currently in bed with DS snuggled up next to me, reading. Aww

Glad to hear everyone had a good day. All good here and relaxing before lunch, have been for a brief walk, so have built up an appetite. There are more wenchlike ways of building up an appetite, but sadly there are no hbfs here...

I have not been for a walk unless you count round M&S. I have eaten my body weight in Maltesers and played Harry Potter Cluedo with DS2 and DH. DS2 and I knew what was going on, DH not so much.

Had a lovely day yesterday at DDs. I hate musicals, but we watched The Greatest Showman and I thought it was wonderful, really enjoyed it.

Cooked for 11 today never again. After lunch we went for a walk around the block and little Max the Cat trotted round with us. He's so sweet. It all went well and it was great to have us all together, but I'm exhausted now, and have done as much clearing up as I intend to today.

Brilliant dream Helen but not so good about the cold, although I'm sure Athos will sort you out

Ah FFS... everyone should have Xmas eve to New Years day off as bank holidays. Fact. No-one should be expected to drag themselves into work after two straight days of eating their own body-weight in chocolates and being polite to relatives.

We have had sodding sport on all day, so I didn't see Greatest Showman, or even record it But hurrah for walks with cats and Cluedo. We have got the new version with the clue cards and with Mrs White swapped out for Dr Orchid, the former of which speeds things up, and the latter is just a bit weird. Who knew that 'Orchid' was a colour' The artists impression of Rev. Green has changed him from an old man to a bit of a Damien Lewis-a-like too. Also, I got the Ladybird Books for Grown Ups bumper compendium thingy - basically all the idea they have that they haven't made a full book out of, and it has kept me smiling happily for the past two days (and given me an internal monologue of my life as a Ladybird book.) Poor DH has done a fabulous job of catering for the past two days as well. The inlaws will be returning home well fed (a Good Thing) and fully infected (a Bad Thing) but hey ho - you can't win them all

Gentle to those working tomorrow, plus paracetamol and water as necessary. Any alarm calls that are needed will be made an hour in advance by the HBF of your choice. He will be up already and will wake you using the method of your choice (cup of hot tea/hot rampant sex, etc)

Commiserations for those who have had to work today and Helen with her cold. I've done sod all. Except for 20 minutes on a rowing machine but that was a dream. Then Kevin from Strictly showed me where the showers were. Now I like Kevin but he's no HBF otherwise he would have been dragged in with me.

It's just us for a meal tonight and I think I can find enough left over veg to have with the turkey which will last a good two weeks so I don't have to cook. Yay!

Afternoon, am finally back home, rather a slow journey but there was no hurry. Am lounging around drinking tea & enjoying the peace & quiet. FancyCat is enjoying having a lap to sit on again.

Glad everyone had good Christmases & sorry to hear about the cold helen. And about the lack of festive hbf dreams all round - with the amount of cheese consumed you would hope for some fruitiness FFS.

We have been out to the beach for a nice healthy meander. Then home via Tescos to stock up on life's little luxuries. (Milk, and more tissues - Wench finance tip: buy kleenex shares now!)

Left overs from the past two days will be miraculously transformed into a XmasStirfry by DH. And since he's cooking, that's more than acceptable because I cannot be arsed. Assuming that I stay awake of course... I may fall asleep on the sofa shortly.

Your dream made me Apricot. I did have an HBF dream of sorts last night. Was with BestFriend at a Paella gig but we were further away from the stage than we’ve been in real life. He did a cover of a Killers album track too.

Tea done. I have a hot chocolate with rum in it and I'm bloody knackered. Think I'll be heading for a bath and early night.
