Am sat in bed, faffing on MN with ScaredyCat - who is trying to climb inside my dressing gown, she is purring so much she appears to have given herself hiccoughs

Am on sofa looking slightly vacant. Inconvenient cat is curled up next to me (I have cleaned up the remains of his mouse). DS is watching TV (I have cleaned up to debris from his biscuit-cooking effort) DH is upstairs (I have helped him clean up the debris of the tree lopping that happened earlier this morning).
Funnily enough, I don't really feel like doing anything else today apart from slumping on the sofa looking vacant. Unfortunately I sort of told DS I'd take him shopping today for an add-on for a game he got at Christmas. We'll see...

I agree with you Wicked. JM is very good and was better in the second episode but there are certain things that have been put into the story that don’t fit and is making me twitchy. They’ll probably change the murderer again too.

I shall slump vacantly next to you Helen. To be fair, neighbours stopped at a fairly reasonable time —unlike when neighbours on the other side have parties— but I’m still very tired. DH has been off today and is busy prepping for tonight and is all excited. I cannot be arsed on an epic scale.

I didn't get to slump vacantly. DH's work went pear-shaped and he couldn't fix it remote so he went into the office and DS and I went shopping. I might have bought a few books with my book token haul Now I just have to find time to read them all. But hurrah for lovely pile of new books. Also, though I'm snuffly, I don't feel too bad, so fingers corssed the cold is getting better.

Has ScaredyCat stopped with the hiccoughs?

Have just started watching the Lone Ranger.....

Everyone has gone. Evening was excellent, especially bearing in mind I was not looking forward to it at all. Therefore, the next time I’m going to a Killers or Paella gig for example I shall really really not look forward to it and I shall end with a Brandon or Paella shag. Wench logic.

Morning all. I had a wierd and utterly bonkers/random dreams and the only bonus was Hugh Jackman putting in a cameo as Logan to tell an irritating man to piss off and leave me alone (and that is all he did). Other than that I was mostly late for work (because the stairs in the house had vanished, leaving just empty space between upstairs and downstairs), and in another dream DS and his friends started time travelling - oh - that was the glitch from WreckitRalph. Ha. Bloody stupid subconscious. So it can incorporate WreckItRalph into my dreams, but not give me HBFs in starring roles? FFS....

Oh well. Today I shall mostly be dragging bits of lopped tree around the garden to the bonfire or the firewood pile. Thrills.

Turns out Armie and Aramis can do loads of things whilst drunk, and Fancy was rather fabulous too!

Weird dream here too. Set at work (thanks for that) where loads of new staff were being squished into my office and we each lost a lot of desk space. Two women who worked in a bar downstairs came up to use the WiFi as it was better than theirs but they needed to get back to the bar so asked if we could look up stuff about The Smurfs(!) for them. They were a bit entitled about it so I got really cross with them. Wicked was there - as someone who was already working in my office - so that bit was nice. Also got on some scales in a doctor’s surgery and was four pounds down so I was really happy when I woke up but then remembered it was just a dream.

It was nice of Hugh to put in an appearance for you Helen. I’ve had the vanishing stairs one. Is odd.

Today shall be washing, possibly shopping, and then out tonight for
LittleSis’s birthday.
