Well done MrHelen for getting Lethal White. Mine came in the post this morning. And I'm sick of people on FB posting photos of their book and screenshots of their order status and how they've been up all night reading it and what chapter they're on. Argh.

DH is practically back to normal now thanks Helen. He played his first round of golf without a buggy on Monday with no problems so has re-joined the club and will be playing his usual 2-3 times a week. Yaaaaay! He gets a bit of pain when sitting down for too long but the surgeon says it's where he cut through a muscle and it will go with time. It's been a long haul, he's been out of golf for nearly a year, but very much worth it.

DS has got a new fairly big lego set so I have been help with that, and am now slightly concerned that the cats will scatter all the unbuilt bits to the wind overnight because the lego is laid out on the floor, and Stupid Cat in particular is in very scatty mode. And we can't shut them out of this room/ Tactical Error there, methinks. Oh well.

DH is out, and recording two things on TV so I cant watch anything else unless it's already recorded [grumpy]

Yay for MrA being back to golf and giving Apricot some peace and quiet I have escaped the worst of the FB book updates, thank goodness.

I was right. It didn’t last. Apparently it’s my fault that DS2 has homework. Yes, on top of everything else, I also have the time to make school give out homework.

DS2 is being a —lot— bit of a ratbag. Even DH has got fed up with him.

Had a lovely visit with —bonkers— relatives but then had to get DS2 to finish some homework. It’s making a poster. He hates doing stuff like that and isn’t very good at/confident about it. I’m shite at that sort of stuff too. He did it as soon as he got home today but you could tell he’d barely made an effort - no colouring in (teacher has specified it must be colourful) or anything. Finally persuaded him to do a bit more. Don’t even get me started on his drama practice.

So I’ll have be having this lovely bottle of berry cider and some special time with Brandon and Benedict and Aramis and Paella and Aidan and Dustin.
