Timeturner would be very welcome Helen. Not got the cases down yet. Tons to do. So we are of course visiting my parents.

Off up to Scotland Wicked. There’ll be rain occasionally but it won’t be cold so it’s absolutely fine. DH will be expecting us to transform into The Waltons whilst we’re away and will be astounded when there’s any fallings out

The thunderstorms have had second thoughts and have decided not to bother.

Morning wenches. Almost packed, just a few last minute things. Trying to get DS1 to actually move and help and do stuff for his own things. The words “losing” and “battle” come to mind. Have told him if he forgets anything after multiple reminders, tough.

DH has already said “we’re on holiday, why are you arguing?” I might keep count.

Hope wenches are feeling a bit cooler.

It's much cooler here today, am thinking of doing some garening for the first time in weeks. That will require me to stop faffing around on the internet first.......

A boxed set of Musketeers, you say. if they're already in a box, then surely that would be ideal for packing away in your holiday luggage?

Is windy here, and feels much cooler, though I suspect that if we didn't have the wind it would be unpleasantly warm again. We had a bit of rain on and off last night, but obviously not that much since a bucket left over from yesterday's drain related activities has about an inch of water sculling about in the bottom. tbh this is probably just as well, because the ground is too dry to cope with a sudden deluge.

I have also been bitten by fecking mosquitoes and I just want to claw my skin off...

Journey went well, albeit with the usual DC squabbling. Went to a park. Now in a restaurant where they’ve brought me the biggest cocktail I’ve ever seen

Evening. We've had quite a lot of rain this afternoon and it's much cooler. I don't have to water the garden for the first time in 4 weeks. Yay! There's the most beautiful double rainbow outside my window.

Evening. We had an impromptu BBQ with the neicephews visiting around tea time. All very nice.

Oh - disaster chez SisterHelen though! I had a some lovely truffly chocolates that were sealed in a foil packet. I decided to open the packet and scoff them one. They are all entirely melted In my head, I can pour it over Athos... in reality I've poured into into some chocolate molds and left it to set again in the fridge.

I’ve had a delicious dinner, two EnormoCocktails and a complimentary liqueur.
