Not sure where Apricot is - maybe she hijacked the golf cart and has gone on a road trip. Assume that Fancy is busy experimenting with biscuit spread/ice cream etc...

I cannot be arsed. Which is unfortunate because I'm going out with DS and meeting friends, which will be lovely and I'm looking forward to it, but I'd also like to spend the day asleep in bed. Or at least in bed - with HBFs to tend to my every need.

Evening all. DS and I have had a lovely day with lovely friends and her DCs And now we are home again so it's straight on the computer for DS while DH cooks tea - hurrah for DH. I have been doing tax and invoicing things, so I am rewarding my adulting efforts with some MN

That is all tbh, nothing to report other than the traffic was hellish, and [noise cancelling earphones] for apricot / CBF at apricot's noisy neighbouring builders.

Evening. So stressed out I had an eye migrain attack earlier. And one of my ear hurts, and one tooth. I'm a complete wreck.

OMG ww that is spooky - I have one swollen tonsil, one achy ear, a sore patch on my tongue & tender jaw, all on the same side. My sinuses are congested too - but that's on the opposite side.

Anyhoo, it's Friday, the DC are away with the ex & I am on the pink fizz. Sadly FancyMan is not free until Sunday night - a missed opportunity I fear.

I've had a migraine on and off for four days now. I think it's the change of season thing that hits me every six months.

Glad Fancy is feeling better. Unfortunately anything slightly pink or fizzy is a migraine trigger for me, so that wouldn't help. I would love the cat acupuncure though, I find that very relaxing, even though it wrecks your clothes.

We're going out this evening with friends, so I hope the headache buggers off before then.

Oh dear, wench sick bay is very busy I prescribe multiple administrations by HBFs. My hips are playing up —because I’ve been neglecting my physio exercises because I’m an idiot— but it’s nothing that a thorough work out involving lots of hip flexion and leg raises won’t sort out

I’ve done the washing up and more washing. Went shopping and - brace yourselves - bought some new pegs. To help me get over such excitement, I’m sitting outside in the garden with a glass of cordial.

I made jam with some of the plums. Then I went to a cupboard to get out empty jam jars and found that it was full of previous years jams I may need to find alternative uses for all our fruit, since we don't seem to eat enough jam.

Why aren't I a better, more engaged, fun mother?

No local fetes or anything coming up where you could donate some of the jam?
