Feel like shit. Had about three hours sleep and my stomach is really sore . Kept my mind off DS1 going for his results though.

DS1 has done very very well and I’ve been having a little cry.

Thanks wenches. We've never really celebrated our anniversary, except the silver and gold ones. DH was in hospital for the first, having had an installation blow up on him at work and suffering burns, so it didn't get off to a good start.

Hope you feel better soon LetUs, but very well done to DS1, that's great news.

Oh, and I absolutely love Knightfall. Unfortunately DH fell asleep so we'll have to watch episode 1 again. I haven't recognised any of the locations yet, but they used many of the places whereTM was filmed, including Doksany.

We rewatched ep 1 of Knightfall and then ep2, which was partially filmed at Tocnik Castle where they filmed Knight Takes Queen, which is ironic considering the circumstances.

DGS has decided he wants a sleepover with us tonight, so I won't be able to watch another episode.

I'm knackered. Apparently we were in the car for 5.5 hours today.
Speaking of chaises, we were browsing antique shop/glory holes whilst visiting the LandThatInternetForgot and one of them had a chaise in I may have smirked slightly to myself. It had a thoroughly impractical (tastefully floral) material cover though. Not like our nice wipe-clean/burnable Tavern one.

DS has been away from his xbox for 7 whole days He came in, made a fuss of the cats, and has plugged himself straight in.

Watching TLJ, Kylo Ren is such a good reason to buy a bigger TV.

What better reason could there be to buy a new TV, other than enhaced HBF appreciation?

Did you wake me up there Wicked? I woke up at 6am, then 6:30 - gave up and went to feed the chickens and cats. Then went back to bed, had a lie-in and now I'm shattered Have also put on a throw on to soak due to hairball cat-vom. Welcome home, eh!?

Top Go Ape tip for wenches. Don't wear a white polo shirt unless you're very good at landing on your feet on zip lines. It's been scrubbed by hand, gone through a washing machine, and is now soaking in vanish with the cat-vommed throw to try and get the ingrained dirt out.

I have been on the patio picking up block-spotted leaves from the roses. Apparently I can survive being a Trainee Ninja, careering through Go Ape, and climbing hilly places. But 5 minutes out on the patio picking up dead leaves has done something rather unpleasant to my hip. please send a HBF to kiss it better

On twitter, there are still tickets to go at watch a film with TB and have a drink. AllProceedsToCharity I can't go, because DS has a swimming lesson that evening.

No advice re washing Helen as I can’t remember how I dealt with DH’s white sweatshirt that covered in DS2’s blood from a head wound when he fell backwards off a wall. I only remember being astonished that whatever I did, actually worked.

Back from Ikea. DS2 was a —lot— bit of a PITA on the way and whilst there. I had to print off a birthday voucher but it wouldn’t recognise my Family card. It took a total of six members of staff over the course of the whole time we were there, culminating in me having to wait in customer services for ages at the end, to get it sorted. Because obviously I was trying to defraud Ikea of the massive sum of £5. Fucksake.

I’m going to have a brew, and then do my nails because we’re off out later this afternoon and evening. I may be having a drink.
