Work was an utter absolute pile of shite today. But it’s Friday so hurrah. Taken DS2 to his swimming lesson. It was about a billion degrees in the viewing area.

We went to various garden centres this morning to have an argument get some plants. We're somewhat late this year due to lurching from one crisis to another and flowers not being at the top of the to do list, although I accept that LetUs might have other thoughts.

Then this afternoon I sat in the sun, had a Magnum and did a couple of sudokus. Lovely. I came back into the kitchen to a horrendous buzzing and there was a bee the size of a mouse slight exaggeration on the window. Have you lost one Helen? I got him in a glass, covered it with some card, released him at the bottom of the garden and ran!

Morning. That's not my bee. My bee is small and friendly. We have got hornets buzzing about at home - like having bloody motorbike next to you when they go past I have a nasty feeling they may be considering nesting behind the cladding, but I haven't told DH because 1) he'd freak, and 2) I don't now what we'd do about it anyway - or not until it's well established.

Am a bit blearly. Was a bit of a late night. Not that you'd know it from DS - Up at 6:40... He is currently installed on Fancy's Wii. Last night was also bloody loud Am clearly old. Was also v. good of course. Dave Grohl - would (Obvs only if Athos was unavailable.)
