My subconscious obviously responded to the 10 seconds trailer I saw with JLM in it, just once the other evening. It doesn’t, however, respond to the repeated and careful study of HBF pics and gifs and videos of The Killers/Brandon Flowers every fecking day. Stupid bloody subconscious.

I might try to watch Versailles tonight between getting DS2 to bed and DH coming home.

DS1 made dinner and he’s changed his bed today when I asked him to do it!

Speaking of watching something again, I need to watch a couple of scenes from Poldark again. Just to check a few details.

Evening. Got home to DH cooking tea - hurrah. DS was very sure that he can carry his plate and cup without help.... I then spent the next 15 minutes clearing up tea and broken plate from the floor Oh well. Have just ordered replacement plate from ebay .

JLM sounds more like a Madame dream than one of yours LetUs - I was on some sort of glasswork course last night with Elk, Madame and Fancy in last night' effort. We were staying in a half-built hotel where the lift hung from a rail and whizzed about like a rollercoaster. Was a shame when fancy dropped the elaborate head-dress she was working no. I don't think I even came up with a design for whatever I was meant to do. Don't ask me what that was all about.

Work was very busy with one specific big job to get done, so no time to notice any fuckwittage.

Is very hot and uggy here, though it's trying to rain. With it would - nice big ploppy rain drops and a thunder storm would do nicely...

How come you all get dinner made for you? DH said tonight he tries to guess what's for his by the smells coming from the kitchen. I told him I have never had that pleasure. He then goes on about garden and DIY etc.

We had a tiny bit of drizzly rain today. Dry tomorrow so the washing will be going out.

It’s DS1’s job on a Wednesday that he sorts dinner. I phone him on my way to collect DS2 and tell him to put the oven on and then I get him to put the food in and keep an eye on it. It’s my way of trying to get him to get off his backside (especially now he’s finished school) and be able to fend for himself when he gets to university. It’s a slow process

I have to say, Silly sausage wasn't the first description that came to mind... Was also annoyed at myself for letting him carry them himself. I should have insisted that he couldn't. Oh well...

Another long commuting day, so am knackered again. Still, back to normal tomorrow, and then Friday off work. So that kind of makes tomorrow Friday

I watched a Poldark last night Was somewhat clueless about exactly what was going on due to being on the stepper at the time and never having watched it before, but there was suitable amounts of pretty in the frame, so it didn't matter too much. One of the women (blonde, newly pregnant at the end of Ep1) seems to be channeling a poodle on her head, poor woman.

Weather can't make up it's mind at the moment. Cloudy/sunny, but consistently windy. So a good drying day when the washing is done.

Needs to shovel DS out the door shortly - hope everyone has a good day.

for wicked - what is this trouble of which you speak, and do we need to sendin Vinnie? (I'd quite like some rain, for the garden of course. Not for the dripping wet HBFs. Nope. Nothing could be further from my mind than soggy HBFs in need of a toweling down and drying off in front of the fire once their wet clothes are peeled off and lying in a soggy heap on the floor while you tend to their needs. Not thinking about that at all.)
