Stupid Cat has been shut upstairs for 10 hours today, but, fingers crossed, doesn't seem to have disgraced herself (apart from sneaking up there i the first place!)

We went out for lunch with SIL and BIL. I really shouldn't drink at lunchtime, it always gives me a headache. At least I don't have to cook.

Leg update - the antibiotics seem to be working. The paler red area around the very red area is shrinking and my ankle isn’t as swollen. However, I am still in need of being carried everywhere by HBFs (pick strong ones) and having my every whim catered to. To be honest, that’s no different to usual.

Give me strength. DH wants to use his Tesco vouchers to go out for a meal. Can I log on and order them - obviously because it’s so fucking difficult and he can’t do it himself. It’s changed since I last used it (have previously entered the voucher numbers manually on my account), but now have to log on with his account. Because he’s not used his account before for Clubcard, it needs the Clubcard number and other details. Except he doesn’t have the card because he uses his credit card and he’s thrown away the most recent statement. He also hasn’t keep the card or the little key fob card. So now he’s having a strop because we can’t get these vouchers. You know, because it’s my fault. Dickhead.

Well I didn’t find any cash, other than in my purse, but I did find as predicted loads of receipts.

DH can piss off. “Have we got anything to watch?” Translation: have you recorded anything that we can watch because apparently I’m unable to find out what’s on the tv and set it to record. No, we haven’t —because I’m not watching Patrick Melrose or Versailles with him—. Cue small harrumph and sigh.

I bet HBFs aren’t bothered about watching tv. So many other things for them to do, ie wenches.
