Just as the football season draws to a close and I thought it might Elbe safe to go back into the living room, DH is now explaining stuff about rugby league.

I may go back upstairs where I earlier spent an immensely enjoyable hour or so on my bed with Brandon Flowers. Sadly it was only on YouTube, but one can dream.

Evening all. When I said I was out all day... I sat down twice from 7am - 8:30pm because I was working at said LocalEvent. I'm a bit tired now.

We had lovely weather all day. though a bit breezy which made it a bit cool at lunchtime until the sun came out again. No I am on the sofa with Stupid Cat sitting on top of me ad I have scoffed a bit plateful of chicken casserole. DH has been on 'responsible adult' duty all day and is wonderful

I’m going to need more vodka.

Not only is DH watching the RL on the telly and boring on with “interesting” information about that, he is also watching the Champions League final on his phone and showing me that too and talking about it.

Badders - DS wants to see Solo, predictably I'm not getting my hopes up above 'entertaining fluff'. We might be going to see it tomorrow, but we haven't booked nything so I'm not sure we'd get in. and I like seeing them after everyone else has, so we get to watch in empty cinemas

We watched the rest of the film we were watching last night - Anon. Hmm it was okay. Good idea, writing was a bit not the best, and lots of female nudity which was obviously completely integral to the plot .

Morning, lovely night out yesterday thanks - very funny & then home to a spectacular thunderstorm - so much lightning Am a bit tired though as went to bed late after watching all that & got up a bit early for a Sunday frankly.

I should get busy with some chores & make the most of the time, but....

Rain is getting later in the day to arrive so beds are stripped and there’s one wash on the line. I’ve just been sitting in the sun, watching the bedding dry in the wind. It made me happy

Afternoon.

I was woken up at 3.00am by an enormous clap of thunder overhead. I nearly hit the ceiling and my first thought was 'Why does Fancy like thunder storms?' We're in the middle of another one now, it's bucketing it down. The road looks like a river. I really don't like them.

We had that football match on here this mornng LetUs and I was called to see some fantastic goal. I ignored it, I'm not interested ffs. I have to be careful though, as he does listen to my witterings intellectual musings.

Washing all dry and in now as it’s gone rather cloudy. Don’t think we’ll get thunder though.

To be honest, it was an amazing goal but I think it’s to do with the constant “oh look at this bit, watch this shot, looklooklook” . And I’m sure your conversation and musings are well worth listening to Apricot.
