Half back to normal routine today. DS1 has a morning revision session at school, DS2 is at the childminder so there is much chivvying going on.

Hope LetUs had a nice frolic in the hayloft, am relieved to say I slept through it - apart from the bits involving Athos, obvs. I was fully awake for those bits.

Day three of dank and dreary mistiness here. I have promised to take DS shopping to spend book tokens. This will not be a massive hardship tbh. Then we have a play date and a swimming lesson.

Hello. No sunshine here, so depressing.

DH took DGS to the barber this afternoon for them both to have their hair cut while DD went to have her nails done. I'm here grooming a cat!

I now have a picture in my mind of Buffy grooming you in return Apricot. Washing your hair over the back wash like at the hairdressers, giving you a blow dry. Perhaps a manicure.

Haha, that would be lovely. She's currently pinched my chaise and I'm squeezed at the end.

General grooming going on chez Apricot then I'm not sure about Buffy grooming Apricot in return though the way our cats groom each other, I don't think it would do wonders for apricot's hair... Saying that, apricot is now due a pampering session of her own.

Ah Fancy, watching live gigs over and over. Tsk tsk. Who would do that? Not me obviously. I have absolutely not still got last summer’s Hyde Park festival featuring The Killers —and Brandon gyrating— on my Sky box. I have also definitely not been watching Killers and Brandon Flowers live performances on YouTube —all night— just now. Nope. Not me.

And there is no reason why I just need to grab a tissue to give my iPad screen a wipe.

Out and about with DS today. Last night he laid on the guilt trip by saying that he couldn't play the games/do the things he wanted to at home because we're always too busy to play with him This is not entirely true, but... Must try harder at this parenting thing.
