Morning. All grey and cloudy here.

FancyFancy · 23/05/2018 08:35

Morning.

Golf thing helen? Golf? Is it naked golf? Not sure it'd be worth the tedium otherwise........

Work for me, including a course this afternoon, laters everyone.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/05/2018 16:52

I HAVE PIMMS! I REPEAT, I HAVE PIMMS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! WineWineWine

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/05/2018 17:24

Golf thing Fancy - some pro-am thing that happened today apparently.

ApricotCrush · 23/05/2018 18:15

Evening.

Hay fever is something I don't suffer from, but sympathies to those who do.

Oooh I missed the Dan Snow/Vikings thing. Two subjects I like. Grin Will look on the iPlayer.

Yay for sorted sewage and Pimms WW.

I don't have to cook as we went to the pub for lunch. Smile

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/05/2018 19:17

I want lunch at a pub too Envy

LetUsPrey · 23/05/2018 20:47

Evening wenches.

How many togs was he Helen? Wink

Hurrah for Pimms!

Hurrah for pub lunch!

Boo for course at work (if it’s as dull as ours are)

I might watch the Dan Snow Vikings thing again Apricot. Just to —establish just how blue his eyes are— make sure I fully understood everything.

Have been for a walk to BestFriend’s house. A mile each way. Tried to take it easy but I tend to end up marching away. Had my trainers on this time though.

Meant to say Apricot, I remembered to buy rubber gloves for washing up at the weekend. Forgot all about them and did the dishes without them. Idiot Grin

LetUs - his tog rating was X Grin and don't overdo the walking. I'll put the HBFs on standby to give you a lift next time...

I've found the Vikings thing, I think - was it 'Vikings Uncovered'? www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b076r0sr

Wicked don't you have any pubs near you that serve lunch?

BoringOfficeJob was ok, because I was busy and no-one was overly annoying ..

My sister’s DP plays golf. She regularly tries to lose certain items of his golf clothing Grin

I should head to the hayloft

LetUsPrey · 24/05/2018 00:02

Athos is just checking you’ve logged out Helen. He’s going to go over your figure—s— very carefully

Bearing in mind that picture Helen kindly posted, I’m going to ride around the hayloft. Feel free to jump on an available HBF anywench. Night.

Morning wenches. It’s Thursday. Which is nearly Friday.

How are you getting on with getting your money back from twattybastards Apricot?

Straight out after work today with BestFriend.

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/05/2018 08:48

Urgh - illing child, v. little sleep.

ApricotCrush · 24/05/2018 16:26

Afternoon wenches.

Watched the Dan Snow Vikings thing. Very interesting. He can excavate my garden any time. Grin I'm not convinced that they did discover America, it all seemed too easy. Might have to watch again. Grin

at forgetting the rubber gloves and your sister trying to lose golf items.

Paypal have accepted my claim, but I'm not out of the woods yet. They have given me an address to return the goods to which I've done - £15.15 Shock although the claim is over £90 - and they will refund me when the goods are delivered. Although I've asked for a signature I'm worried that they'll just refuse to accept delivery and say it never arrived. I don't trust anyone, particularly this company. Will have to wait and see.......

Have a good evening with your friend.

Oh dear Helen. Hope he recovers soon.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/05/2018 21:40

Evening. Illing child is on antibiotics and feeling much better, but will be off school tomorrow too. I have spent the day on my feet doing garden type things.

Fingers crossed for the refund Apricot. I still haven't seen the Dan snow thing, but the 'Vikings discovered America' theory is a very old one isn't it? (I thought it was a fact?) I know they got just about everywhere else on the trading routes. I'll just have to watch the thing. Grin

I have work to do... Sad not sure I can really be arsed tonight, but deadlines and stuff.

FancyFancy · 24/05/2018 22:28

Evening

A somewhat dull day today, although there were birthday cakes so it wasn't all bad. I shall ramp up teh excitement levels by tackling the remains of the ironing mountain.

LetUsPrey · 25/05/2018 00:02

Evening wenches.

Poor MiniHelen Sad. Here’s to the antibiotics doing their work quickly.

at inviting Dan round for a spot of planting out in the beds . TBH if he told me that Vikings also went to the moon, I’d be happy with that.

A day with birthday cake in surely can’t be all bad.

Back home. Been watching Ed Sheeran with BestFriend. Ed himself was jolly good. The crowd however - near us anyway - were the worst I’ve ever experienced at a gig. On one side middle class twonk couples who clearly thought the world revolved around them and drank too much. On the other, a group of couples who included a woman who accused another woman of grabbing her boyfriend and whose mate then got involved with much shouting and swearing. We were hoping they’d actually start fighting so security would wade in and remove them. Both groups also spent most of the time drinking, going to the bar, drinking, chatting and taking many many selfies,

But as I said, Ed was great.

Knackered so am having a brew and then heading to the hayloft for some individual attention from an HBF.

Morning wenches. Thank goodness it’s Friday, and the Bank Holiday, and then I have two days off after that!

I am so tired so I’m just going to lie on the chaise all day.

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/05/2018 08:08

Sounds like a good plan LetUs

Illing child is less illing (quite perky in fact), but still not going to school. I have bee working since 6:30 so I can then do 'helping parent' things all day. I'm a bit knackered already. I should probably have breakfast. Or Athos. Or both. In bed. Or anywhere else he fancies.

LetUsPrey · 25/05/2018 08:11

Just lie on the next chaise along Helen. Athos will be along momentarily.

Afternoon wenches

even your drooling is attractive

I am all the tireds.

I did however to put my rubber gloves on to do the washing up —after I’d forgotten and washed a few things—
