Well, the anticipated snow arrived, in fact it's been snowing on and off all day, but some of it is melting, so it's not too bad.

I'm trying to do some Christmas stuff, but it's not going too well.

DH has the oven in pieces in the kitchen because the grill isn't working properly.

Have just found out when going through DS2’s bag that the school have brought forward the time of the Christmas play by 30 minutes. I’ve already swapped my early finish day (hence working later today) and would have had to —beg— ask to leave 30-40 minutes early on the day, negotiating working some lunch. Fuck knows what they’ll say now when I ask to leave even earlier. Unfortunately their attitude to flexible working only seems to extend to certain members of staff. And I can’t really spare even half a day’s holiday —having already had to book two days off that week for something else— at this point. It’s his last one and I’ve not been the last three. FFAS.
