So in the last hour or so I’ve stubbed my toes (you may have heard the shouts of agony) and then knocked over a cup of milk. How is it that I’d only poured a tiny amount into the cup, yet it looked like there was about a full pint swimming on the worktop?

I did thaw out thanks wenches - spent the morning with FancyMan. We braved the outside v briefly to get supplies. Basically cake, advent calendars & sanitary towels

It's clearly a magic milk cup - holds an infinite amount so when you spill it, you end up swimming in the stuff. I think that we have those cups. They probably appear on Merlin too.

Oh - also I watched a bit of that Alan Moore interview - The Show is a thriller that follows on from events in a series of short films that they've done. Which doesn't leave us much the wiser, other than it's a thiller. And probably a bit wierd, because Alan Moore.

Anyway, we succumbed and bought DS the Lego Star Wars advent calendar... cue small excited person hurling himself onto our bed at 6:30 babbling thank-you's and then opening the window to build WhateverTAF the little kit was meant to be We will have this delight for the next 23 days now, which is ok because
a) he usually wakes me up then anyway
b) those levels of excitement and enthusiasm are unfailingly cute and lovely.

Evening. Today I have been tiling and working and tiling and school stuff and tiling and....
DH came back from being out and I was may have been a mardy cow again (because of tiling being faffy and stressful, and he was there asing un helpful questions), but then he went out and got a chinese takeaway so he is wonderful and lovely. I still have another wall of tiles to do though

I now have Stupid Cat on my lap pullign my dressinggown to bits and purring her head off.
