DS1 hasn’t so much as cracked a book for his GCSEs. Did his mocks October/November. He has at least applied for college places so I suppose that’s something.

Glad to hear that MrLetUs is feeling better, but FFAS at MiniLEtUSesez homework. I know that it's chaos at the end of Xmas term, but surely the teacher could have made sure that holiday homework went to everyone? Can you screenshot the lack of homework notifications to stick under the teacher's nose?

Today has been a bit crap even by Monday’s standards. DS2 has found out today that there was homework given out on the last day before Christmas (when he wasn’t in). Stuff he should have been doing every day and something else that would have taken him the whole holidays to complete. He’s obviously not done anything. Not sure why it wasn’t put on the school messaging system.

I plan to relax and have an early night.

Morning all... lovely clear start here, and yes Apricot, the plants (or PLANETS, even) were together again this morning, though not as well aligned as yesterday morning.

Today I don't seem to have much work to do, apart from emailing people to ask why they haven't replied yet So I may have to do..... Housework

I shall pretend to myself that there's a HBF waiting to reward me once I can see the surface of the kitchen table. In fact, once I've cleared the table, we can put it to good use
