Got a call from DS2’s school today about 40 minutes before end of school. Could I arrange to collect as he wasn’t himself. Not been sick. Just not feeling well. Had to rope in family member to collect him and take him to my mum’s (very lucky). He’s perfectly fine now. Just had something at lunch that didn’t agree with him.

Today: Grouting of previously tiled areas, but not last night's because it's too soon. Hoovering/mopping/washing of cat-infested house

As heavy snow is forecast for tomorrow I've been trying to get as much done as possible, food shopping, cleaning windows outside etc. I don't do snow. It looks very pretty and all that, but I won't go out unless it's absolutely necessary.

Hope Badders's eye is alright, MiniLetus's suit fits and Helen isn't too exhausted after all that work.

Athos is glad he could be of service Helen. When I was watching a leather clad Cenred episode, DH started watching it with me. After about half an episode “oh that’s him out of Lucifer!” I felt a surprised “is it!?!” wouldn’t have been believable

I think we’ve a bit of snow forecast here but hopefully nothing drastic. Although to hear one of my colleagues, you’d think we’re due 50ft drifts for the next six months.

Pleased all seems okay with your eye Badderz. Saw a trailer for Detectorists where there’s safety tape condoning off an area and he says “I reckon I could get under that”

MiniLetUs’s suit fits very nicely. Needs a shirt and tie now. How do you decide which collar size fits best if all the shirts are folded up in packets?
