Commiserations on lack of sleep Bads. I seem to be waking up around 3.30 and can't get back. I sometimes get another hour after DH gets up. It's draining.

Ooooh nail polish. I bought three bottles this morning! I'm a bit obsessed with the Next ones, I've got 9 now. It's fabulous, it will last me three weeks with a bit of touching up here and here.

re. 3am wakings. DH was also awake then, and made sure I was by huffing and puffing about his back hurting. Which I am sympathetic about, but FFS at 3am... I think I may have got up and cracked it for him, but I wasn't entirely awake, so I may be imagining that.

Well today wasn't too bad once I got going - felt grotty first thing owing to hormones & them & the gale outside keeping me awake, but several cups of tea later I got going & it was nice to see everyone again.

Now to finish off the evening's chores........

Oh FFS... I finally sit down for a few moment and then hear the unmistakable sound of a cat heaving - cue one mega-puke under the dining table, then DS gets all wingey about bed time.... FFS.

I'm going to go on the stepper now and watch a ghost story, because DH is out and it's dark.... and TB is in it, so tbh I'll probably be more interested in watching for him that worrying about ghosts though DS is putting his best soundtrack of moans and groans together for it... FFS...

Any vodka left? DH been in about half an hour. Seems to have joined in with the annoying behaviour. Are we watching something? Bit late to start watching something now as I want to head to bed soon. Cue huffing and sighing. Oh fuck off.

TB most enjoyable, though I feel that I rather ruined the carefully built up tense atmosphere of the programme by chuntering away on the stepper. Oh well. Work tomorrow, I suppose I ought to be getting up to the hayloft too...

So I might as well start watching Howards End - which seems to be staring her from Capt America (Peggy?) who was also in the Radio adapation of Cyrano de Bergerac... 7 degrees of TB - well, I'm sure he can do lots of degrees - all angles covered

Howards End was fabulous. Hayley Atwell was wonderful.

DS2 is chunnering away in his room that no one likes him and everyone hates him. This is because he’s been told to go to sleep. FFS.

Mine was outraged at the thought of having to go to bed earlier then for the past few weeks, because he has school tomorrow. And at being forced to tidy up his books himself. I am a cruel mother.
(He was asleep within 10 minutes.)
