Have just had to rebuild a large part of DS2’s Lego set after DH decided to move it “out of the way”. Wasn’t in the fucking way of anything. It came apart and bits came off, but it wasn’t immediately obvious how it went back together again. So I’m trying to do that whilst DH and DS1 are jabbering away to each other about the sodding bastard darts. Anyway it’s fixed now for DS2 to carry on with.

So my back’s hurting from leaning over to do the Lego so I’d quite like everything rubbing better please. Dustin’s good with his hands, and Paella, and Brandon.

Had a dream all sort of set in Little Women because I’d been watching it earlier and enjoying it. All very lovely. If only it happened with other things I’d been watching and enjoying.

Suppose I’d better do some ironing today. Such fun.

Can't believe it's New Years Eve today.

Usually I'm like "yay, a new year, new possibilities, blah blah", now I'm more like "whatever". Meh.

Oh FFS re. the lego LetUs that's just annoying. I had a dream which I can't remember, but it had nothing to do with HBFs, so I'm not wracking my brains to remember what it was .

New year - meh. I figure if you want to make changes or stuff you just dooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttt. Don't wait around for a new year to happen, or hope that things will change just because the year did. It's just a number. Much like age, which seems increasingly irrelevant to anything other than other people's perceptions.

I have many things to be grateful for
However another year means another year of mums declining health. No amount of positive thinking makes copd better sadly.
However, on a personal level I intend to take a bit more time for me.
And I may do more volunteering.

I've been looking out for trailers for Strike, but nothing yet.

I'm not keen on New Year, we haven't been out for years. We usually go to bed and watch the fireworks on TV. This year has been shit, both health-wise and financially, so much expensive stuff has broken and had to be replaced. Hopefully next year will be better.
