I've never seen Singing in the Rain or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Poor MiniBads, hope he's alright, they are a worry.

Still haven't started the wrapping and DGS has been here since school closed at lunchtime so I can't now.

We did the annual removal of insulation from the chimney this morning. We have log fires over Christmas, but because of the draft DH shoves insulation in there for the rest of the year. When we fetch it out we have to cover the whole room with dust sheets in case we get a soot fall. It's a bit of a nightmare, but it's done now. One year we forgot to get it out and the house filled with smoke on Christmas day just as I was serving the meal.

Yes, but the stepper's been out of action for about 3 weeks and the friday morning exercise class stopped too, so.... And jeeez... you should have felt the lumps that the masseuse found in my shoulders when I had a spa visit with a friend. I need to be doing stuff and stretching or I'm going to fall to pieces/seize up.

It is weird when the DC are off school and you still have to go to work. DS2 is finishing today as he isn’t going in tomorrow. DS1 going in for an hour or so then has permission to come home. I’m finishing today but shouldn’t be off until Friday. Got a wedding tomorrow.

Waaaah! I've lost my to do list! Still haven't started the wrapping.

at Special Christmas edition of our adventures. Two years ago a dead pigeon fell out of the chimney onto DH's face.

I've got a gum infection. I've been trying to cure it with salt rinses for the last 10 days, but it's not going away. I don't want antibiotics as I'm allergic to half of them and they upset my bladder, but I'm scared of being in agony over the holiday. I've tried to get an appointment with the dentist but he's closed until tomorrow. WTF!

I wish they'd stop putting 30 second clips of those interviews on YouTube. There must be a dozen of them now. Someone should join them all together. Maybe me after Christmas if I can find out how to do it.
