Is lovely and sunny, so hopefully the washing will dry today - DH put it out yesterday and sat back down to work, and then couldn't be bothered getting in back in when it started raining 5 minutes later.

Today the list contains Xmas stuff and rat-proofing the chicken house. Again. FFS. But the latter can wait because DHis still out and it's a much easier job for two.

The Golf Club do was alright, assisted by a modicum of . We had a quiz which was annoying because I'm very competitive and although I knew the answers my recall isn't as good as it used to be. It's like knowing you have something in a filing cabinet but can't find it. Anyway, we had a good laugh.

This morning we have been changing the taps in the cloakroom. I thought you could just fetch the old ones off and put the new ones on, simple. But nooooo. They've been on there for 30 odd years and didn't want to leave, leading to much exertion and swearing. It's amazing how plumbing lends itself to smutty innuendo. 'You hold on while I screw from underneath.' Anyway, they're done now.

Am of your cinema trip Badderz. DH has told me he’s out on Monday evening so realistically I’ll have to wait until Tuesday evening to take DS1.

DH has got his Tidying Head on. This involves lots of “what shall we do with this?” “where can we put this?” etc etc. My replies are apparently the wrong ones because he has already decided. So why fucking ask then?

DIY lends itself wonderfully to smut doesn't it Apricot. There was various talk this afternoon about the best position / best angle, and complaints that things kept coming out. Hopefully the taps are working now anyway. Our new shower leaks. FFS. I'm ever getting someone I know socially to do work in the house. I find it incredibly bloody awkward to flag up that actually they've not done the best ever job and if I'd know that they were going to do that, then I'd have just done that part myself - better. FFS, etc.

I don't think we're getting to the cinema until late next week...
Spoiler alter though - apparently Darth Vader is Luke's father who knew? I know, I know, but it makes me grin still. Did anyone see Graham Norton? I haven't caught up yet but clips on Facebook look entertaining.
