Can’t tempt DS1 to watch Father Ted so I’m watching Merlin. EvilUncleAggravating is telling Arthur he can’t be carrying on with Gwen. Cave dwelling’s not doing Morgana’s hair any favours.

We just watched a Merlin ('The Secret Sharer') where Morgana takes a day trip to somewhere where they have shining golden domes, turbans, incense and tigerskins. Judging by the accent of shiny-headed wizard Alator, this means Scotland.
I couldn't place 'Alator' so IMBD'd him - turns out he's in Outlander as Colum MacKenzie. Whoever that is, but I recognised him anyway....

Been out walking in the snow, it's so beautiful. It's quite warm here so hope it doesn't melt away at once. Had an herring/egg sandwich and now back to work.

Evening - absolutely delightful here - compacted ice on all the pavements. Rain is forecast tonight so I'm really hoping that will melt the ice on my road before I have to drive to work tomorrow.

That was a very satisfactory stoking by the HBFs there - though I might be feeling a HBF bit chilly again now, so a repeat performance is necessary.

Outside it is very deep shallow, crisp and even patchy. Bloody chilly too. The car park at BoringOfficeJob was an icerink with melted snow and standing water frozen solid by the time I left. I have no idea what is forecast for tomorrow, but hope as per fancy that the ice is all gone. It won't be.
