DD and her family are going to a wedding at a lovely venue out in the countryside. Apparently they've got people out working on access to the place. Bit worried.

I am online to check the address of a friend who has moved. That's all. I'm not on N at all. Nope.

Also no snow out here, though there was sleet earlier. Just lots of rain. DH has gone out to buy a tree.

Afternoon.
Lots of snow here, all very pretty but a monumental pain in the arse when various people need to be in various different places and all the trains are buggered as are all the minor roads

I should probably get a few chores done so that I can enjoy an evening of mindless froth on the tv - I have some Merlin left to watch

Still snowing here, it's really deep.

They got there safely, don't know how long it took them, it's normally a 20 minute journey. They're staying overnight, but God knows how they're going to get back tomorrow. DD has taken the day off anyway, and the school's closed so that's one worry less.

We don't find out about school closures til 8am tomorrow 😡

I think I may have written all the Christmas cards now....
and DS has decorated the tree.

The rest of the Christmas cards are in the loft. Don’t really want to buy extra packs when I know they’re up there.

We were talking at work once about someone having potentially done something a bit iffy with some money that wasn’t there and I said “was the money just resting in their account?” They didn’t get it. Come to think if it, that may be the same person who looked at my TM picture and said they “look a bit grubby” like that was a bad thing. Some people are strange.
