I have been a hive of shoving things under cushions tiding before family arrive - including truthful tactless children who will comment on what a state the house is. 
Apricot will be pleased to know that this means no tile cutting has been done yet, so no neighbours disturbed. And we're off swimming in half an hour, so quite likely that none will get done today at all, at this rate...
DS slept in until 7:40 this morning! This means that I'm not knackered (yet) for once. We must take him out to do SportingActivities more often when he's still technically recovering from being ill. I mean, if that's what it takes to get a lie-in round here...
