10th also I think LetUs, if you want (can cope with) a captioned screening

LetUsPrey · 24/09/2017 22:52

Jolly tasty Fancy. Lickable

Only listed for 5th so far at my local Helen, but that might change. Thanks

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 08:02

Morning wenches. Dull here but I don’t care as no work for me today!

Oh and subconscious just a little note. Thanks for the sexy dream. Very vivid. If it could not be DH next time though and perhaps someone off my list, that’d be grand. FFS.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2017 08:38

Oh LetUs - that's just not fair, though probably good for marital relations and all that Wink

Anyway, DS is still illing, so I have a fun day of trying to work and supervise him working on him project, because while he it just a shade too off-colour for school, he is not 'Lying on the sofa and watching TV' ill. How the hell did I cope with a newborn? 2am, 4am, 6am wake-ups and I'm trashed. There may be questions about whether I'm awake enough to sensibly supervise him, let alone do any of my work!

FancyFancy · 25/09/2017 08:55

Brew helen

ApricotCrush · 25/09/2017 09:40

Morning!

Chucking it down here and I put a wash load on earlier when it was sunny. Angry

Hope DS is better soon Helen and gets on with his project.

How was the party Bads?

Have a good day all. Smile

Badders08 · 25/09/2017 10:20

Hi all 👋
Sorry to hear ds is poorly helen..ds2 was much the same last week. Back to school lurgy maybe?
Party went ok. There was enough food...just!
Got 4 of ds2s friends coming for a birthday tea tonight - it's his b day today - and the weather is shit 😣
Any ideas for keeping 5 8/9 year old boys entertained!!??
Just made 12 pokemon cupcakes for later.
Got quite a bit of house admin to do 🙄 then school harvest service at church
Busy busy...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2017 11:05

Hmm re. weather - I may have summoned the rain gods by putting a load of washing on then.

Badders - no idea re entertaining 5 of them indoors. DS usually ends up on the x-box but that doesn't really work for 5 of them. Board games?

Badders08 · 25/09/2017 11:18

Argh Helen it's all your fault then! 😂 I've got 2 loads on so maybe I jinxed it too...
No bloody idea what to do
Was planning a nerf battle outside...

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 12:17

Hope MiniHelen is better soon.

No ideas re entertaining DS2 and his friends, but a very happy birthday to him!

Kitchen is tidy, washing is done and I am firmly installed on the settee with my feet up. Am watching American Gods, parts of it through my fingers. Not sure what I make of it so far so I’m just going with the weirdness.

What film you watching Fancy?

Comtess · 25/09/2017 12:20

Evening all

Ooooooooooh Helen where did you get the Good Omens pic? I must say I was hoping for slightly more sexy Aziraphale rather than Gardeners World bumpkin looking Sheen. Is that really what Oxford rare book sellers look like? Hmmmmm. Tennant also needs to fatten up. I cannot fancy him all skinny. .

Busy sporting weekend here plus much immature giggling with Mr C due to a friend whatsapping him a guardian article about non-orgasmic 'shades of sex' e.g. Clitoral stroking rather than his wife (the intended recipient). Mucho chortling here. I suggested we try some of it but the Yorkshire machismo kicked in and stated that he'd actually explode if he didn't ejaculate for a month so, that's that I think.

Learning point; careful who you forward articles to on WhatsApp.

You're all making me feel very homesick with this talk of custard and sponge puddings etc. I now have massive craving for treacle tart but that is inevitably never going to happen as I'd have to make it.

Bads - party food sounds amazing. I would never be organised enough to get all the puddings ready at once. Or make them in the first place to be fair.

Also boo about ill mini-wenchi. It's the fucking schools with the heating up too high fermenting viruses and not enough outdoor play. . Less SATs prep and more sport would do most of them a world of good.

(Can't remember what year H's lad is in but you know what I mean generally).

OP posts:
Comtess · 25/09/2017 12:24

God I wish my kitchen was tidy. It's tiny and there is no space to prep anything really. Very much a 'show' kitchen, no good for any actual cooking. PITA.

What's this American Gods programme? BBC? Or Netflix??

OP posts:
Comtess · 25/09/2017 12:26

Friend has 'taped' that Batch programme but I'm not keen on watching it. The trailer at the end of Strike upset me so just don't think I could sit through it.

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 12:31

Arf at incorrect Whatsapping Grin I have two separate groups (one family, one friends) for Strictly chat. Am having to be very careful I don’t post things like “what in the name of ever loving fucking fuck was that shambles” in the family chat.

American Gods is on Amazon. Have recorded the Batch thing. Not decided whether I’ll watch yet.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2017 13:29

Oh FFAS Comtess I must have tweeted/messages/gibbered at you about American Gods? Neil Gaiman adaptation shown on Amazon Prime

ApricotCrush · 25/09/2017 13:43

Happy Birthday to BadsDS2, hope he enjoys his birthday tea.

at WhatsApp mix up. Grin

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 14:59

I shall continue with it Helen. Have watched the first two episodes. I must say they seem to have used a fair chunk of the budget on fake blood. Is very good though. Ian McShane is fabulous —although he’ll always be Lovejoy to me—

Pleased to hear that MiniHelen is better and back to school.

Am watching Miranda. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I have been laughing my head off and it feels like it’s just what the doctor ordered as a good way to spend time away from work Grin

Badders08 · 25/09/2017 15:55

Comtess!!

They're all currently outside having a nerf battle - it's fucking carnage
Sigh
Cupcakes turned out ok
B day tea is Pizza, garlic bread, fries and nuggets in take away cartons so I don't have so much washing up lazy bint

Badders08 · 25/09/2017 16:33

The crumble I made yesterday was quite nice (although I liked the sound of Helen's better!)
This is one of the cupcakes I made earlier..
Christ I'm knackered!!
Has to wrangle all 5 of them back to mine after the harvest service...thats wasnt stressful at all 😣

Swagger Inn 150: The one where the wenches do Strike (analysis) and that Santi Salvation thing.
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2017 16:48

Take-away sounds emminently sensible Badders

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 17:37

Pizza, garlic bread, fries and nuggets and cupcakes. There’s nothing in that sentence I don’t like. I am also up for anything crumble —except rhubarb—

Off for open evening at the high school soon.

Badders08 · 25/09/2017 17:41

I don't have any truck with rhubarb letus
Fear not!

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2017 17:45

Why the fuck aren’t my strike outs working?
