I tried to watch Strictly, but there were too many small Elks and small Elk friends demonstrating how to river dance in front of the telly that I didn't get to see much . I've no idea who anyone is this year though, so I can't imaging avidly watching it until Xmas.

My drama teacher at school was (possibly still is) Brian Conley's BIL, and described him as a 'nob' at Christmas get togethers. So pretty much as you'd expect then. Debbie McGee just gives me the creeps.

Back with less grumpiness when this hangover falls off.

DS is now feeling a bit hot and under the weather he's curled up on DH watching Jools Holland from last night.

Oh - haircut update. So, DH didn't notice when I lopped some off on Thursday. So on Friday I decided to up the ante and cut more off to take it to just about collar level... Nada.
Yesterday morning they both went off to SaturdayMorningSportingActivity I saw my parents - both of whom noticed immediately. DS noticed Saturday lunchtime (having been out with DH all morning) No comment from DH. At 5pm I was thinking that DH must have noticed by now, and was playing a waiting game to see how long it would take me to ask if he'd notice. But no, he really was still oblivious. I was thinking of breaking out the Lush henna next. He noticed just gone 6pm last night... "You've cut your hair!"

5th October? FFS that’s the evening there’s an important meeting at DS1’s school. I’m starting to think they do it on purpose. I’ve missed productions of King Lear and Romeo and Juliet because of events at the school. Fortunately I’ve seen it but I want to see it again.
