I'm in bed now, but have to stay awake until 9.30 to tell DD to stop whatever she's doing. Hmm

SassynSane · 06/04/2017 20:51

Malcolm can't see your pic on my phone Sad will have a look on laptop later.

Bath hope you manage to stay awake. I am knackered now! 😫

So I have been getting back to nature this eve...went for impromptu play date with DD after school to one of her friend's houses and went to meet some lambs in field by them. Kids went off to play with the lambs and inadvertently separated one of them from it's mum & it got v stressed...long story short I ended up scooping up lamb and marching across fields to reunite him with his mum...in my pale work skirt and pink cardi and heels! ConfusedGrin They are now in the wash! Got home and Sassycat threw up everywhere so had to clear up that....now on sofa avoiding all animals! Finished work today - whoop whoop - & really looking forward to my break tomorrow with DD...bliss, especially as the weather forecast is looking fabulous. Hurrah! Smile

Morning Brew Another 5am-ish wake up for me but was in bed by 10.30pm and slept better so don't feel as bad! Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day and as much as I know I have a long, busy day ahead of me, the thought of a glass of wine overlooking the sea later is hugely motivating Grin Hope you both have a good Friday!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 07/04/2017 07:49

Sassy! 🐑💩 Oh dear! I hope your clothes are okay after a wash!!!

Glad you (sort of) slept better last night. I woke up around 5, but managed to get back to sleep after 15 mins or so.

I am very envious of your holiday! Have an amazing time, you deserve it!

I've got to drop DD1 off to a sleepover later, then I'm taking DD2 into town to buy a birthday present for her friend. Apart from that, I'm hoping I can finish off a few jobs I've got to get done.

Bath, hope you slept well.

Have a good day!

Not sure my clothes will ever be the same again but the lamb needed sorting (it was really distressed, the girls hadn't meant to upset it but as it walked away they followed then it panicked and ran, as did they and by time I made it across the field poor thing was exhausted) & gave me little glow of joy when he got back to his mum and went straight for a drink Smile Less joyous at the sheep sh*t on my work clothes HmmGrin

Yes can't wait for some RnR in the sunshine this next week. Babysitting friend's DD this morn but will be simultaneously cleaning and packing so think DVD player will be largely doing the babysitting! Hope you manage to get your jobs done today. Will catch up on posts whilst am away (mostly in eves with Wine in hand), hope you both enjoy the sunshine over the next few days x

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 07/04/2017 08:38

Have a good (and safe) journey. Give a wave to Blandford from me on your way through!

You'll have to post a picture of your amazing view later!

SassynSane · 07/04/2017 08:40

Will do 😊 x

BathshebaDarkstone · 07/04/2017 08:53

Morning! I woke up at 4.23, gave up, got up at 4.50, DS2 got up at 5.20, DD woke up at 5.40, went back to sleep until 7, had coco pops granola, watching SheZow. Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 07/04/2017 09:09

Sassy was it loads of sheep shit? DS2 cut his head open at school in reception, and bled all over the administrative officer's white suit - I mean, ALL over it. The moral of that story is NEVER wear white if you work in a school! Grin

SassynSane · 07/04/2017 09:24

Lets just say my laundry basket was a bit pungent last night Bath LOL Grin. Good moral...must recall that next time am in fields in pale work clothes and heels 😂😂😂

I have a SheZow fan this end too Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 07/04/2017 15:30

He's so PINK!!!! Shock

Had chicken breasts in BBQ sauce with potato wedges for lunch, in the park until suppertime. I think this my life until they go back to school. Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 07/04/2017 15:45

Also Sassy, is SheZow old enough to drive that car?

BathshebaDarkstone · 07/04/2017 18:57

Had shepherd's pie for supper, one in bed, one going in half an hour. GrinGin

SassynSane · 07/04/2017 22:02

Evening! LOL Bath, nope def some kind of criminal underage driving offence going on! And yes... very pink!

Been a long old day. Didn't get down here til almost 7pm in the end. Unpacked car and then went straight out for fish n chips on the seafront. DD now in bed & am catching up with MN before also heading to bed. Shattered! Waved to Blandford for you Malcolm. Forgot to take pic of view as got here so late but have attached one taken in Sept. Will be making most of the view and the weather these next few days!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 07/04/2017 22:53

Sassy!!! Wow, that view...just, wow! 😲 Bet that makes the long car journey worth every minute. Thanks for waving to dear old Blandford for me! Hope you enjoyed the wine!

Bath, I love it at this time of year and often think that we always get the best sort of weather now, or maybe it's just that I appreciate it more as it's been winter for so long! I love going out and about and often used to go dog-walking in the woods nearby on an 8-mile walk for a few hours. Seeing the trees in bud and the flowers in bloom, especially the bluebells a bit later on, it just makes my heart sing! Bluebells actually make me think of my DS2 now, as I went to a local bluebell wood with my parents the Friday before he was born (I had a planned section on the Monday). Anyway, I'm glad your DC's are having lots of fun in the park and the weather is meant to be lovely this weekend, too.

Dropped DD1 off at her friend's sleepover earlier, then took DD2 present shopping for her friend. I had a mission to be in and out of the city centre in under 30 mins and I'm very proud to say I did it!!! 😂

I had fish & chips for dinner too, Sassy, then I sat down to do an hour or so's worth of work on a blanket I've just started to make for DD2.

Hope everyone gets to sleep and doesn't wake up until after 8am!!! BrewBrewBrew⬅️pretend this is Horlicks!⬆️

Sleep well!

SassynSane · 08/04/2017 10:29

Morning! Brew Your Horlicks worked Malcolm and I got a full nights' sleep. Yay! And

BathshebaDarkstone · 08/04/2017 15:31

Hi! I woke up at 5.30, DS2 woke up at 6.15, DD woke up at 7, went to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast, the DC had kids' breakfasts, I had scrambled eggs and bacon, dropped the DC back home, bought their Easter eggs, did food shopping, back home, had creamy peppercorn chicken with sautéed potatoes for lunch.

One going to bed now, the other at 7.30. GrinGin

SassynSane · 08/04/2017 18:40

Evening Smile Your supper sounds lovely Bath! Just eaten staple store cupboard tuna pasta bake (though made from scratch with no shop bought sauce and a ton of olives and mushrooms - DD has rather grown up tastes Grin) accompanied by a rather nice Shiraz...DD going to have some Easter egg for afters...I might carry on with the Shiraz! Shame I don't have gorgeous hunk to pour my next glass but can't have everything I guess 😂

Lovely sunshiny day today. Clifftop walk, icecream on the beach. Bliss. Hope you've both enjoyed the sunshine!

EvilDoctorBallerinaDuck · 08/04/2017 21:02

It's actually me, Bathsheba, DD gave the name to an animal she saw in our rag rolling, I thought it would make a fabulous NN! Grin

She's in bed now. GrinGin

SassynSane · 08/04/2017 21:13
