All DDs work...can't mustn't take the credit!

Fucking (excuse language but sometimes it's perfect for a certain context and this is one of those times) fabulous news Bath!!! Am sooo pleased to hear that! Can you get your celebration day in before the op? Curry. Cake. Lego film. DD Christmas dancing DVD. Birthday celebrations. So so so pleased for BathsLad and for you!!! 😊

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 04/04/2017 22:46

Just a quick one as I'm flipping knackered!

So glad BathsLad is home, Bath, I hope he's well enough for his op soon.

Glad today went well, Sassy, hope you sleep better tonight!

Sleepover is going very well, all of DD1's friends are lovely and very well-behaved. Lots of laughing going on and not much in the way of even sounding tired, let alone anything remotely resembling sleep!

I'm off to bed now and am leaving them to it!

Oh and DS1 passed his driving theory test!

Good days all round then Malcolm Smile. Fab re DS1 & theory test. Here's to a peaceful night for us all. Sleep well both x

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 05/04/2017 06:57

Morning! All quiet downstairs still!

Am about to go through the shower and then the two babies will be let loose amongst them! 😈 I didn't hear a peep out of them last night, to be fair - they're all really lovely girls and it's been a pleasure to have them. I'm just hoping DD1 isn't too hideous today!

I'm planning on doing absolutely nothing after they've gone and having a really lazy day!

Hope everyone else has a good day!

SassynSane · 05/04/2017 07:24

Morning Brew

Sounds like a very successful evening Malcolm, hopefully DD1 will be appreciative of that and be nice today!

Hope you slept well Bath? Had a better night which is good as working today. And on that note better go grab a shower. Happy Wednesday Smile

BathshebaDarkstone · 05/04/2017 07:54

Morning! Had coco pops granola, watching Littlest Pet Shop. Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 05/04/2017 07:59

I woke up at 3.25 again but fell back to sleep until 5.10. I'm aiming for 9 tonight as I'm still knackered. BrewBrewBrew

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 05/04/2017 09:41

Oh Bath, that's horrible. I've had nights like that recently thanks to DS2 and I know how exhausting it is to try and function on so little sleep. Have lots of BrewBrewBrew from me!

All girls have now been picked up and order has been restored! DS1 has now ventured out of his room! 😂

Thanks Malcolm, I need it! Grin @ your DS1, scared of a few girls! Grin

Making chicken, ham hock, leek and tarragon pie for lunch. Grin

SassynSane · 05/04/2017 19:39

Evening! Wine Hope days have been good? Your lunch sounded yummy Bath. Just had veg stirfry here, was lovely! Today been long and tomorrow the same but then break up and can hopefully relax and enjoy some of the wall-to-wall sunshine we've had forecast. Anyone got any nice Easter plans? We're off to the Dorset coast on Fri for a week. Can't wait Smile

BathshebaDarkstone · 05/04/2017 19:46

Went to Sainsbury's, then the park until suppertime, had paneer masala, which DS2 helped to make, for supper, he just fell asleep and I carried him to bed, DD's going now. GrinGin

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 05/04/2017 22:53

I agree with Sassy, Bath - your lunch sounds lovely. As does your dinner, in fact! I had the leftover pizza from last night!!!

Sassy - a week on the Dorset coast sounds absolute heaven. My maternal grandparents lived in Blandford until I was around 11 or so, and I have many fond memories of that part of the world. It's so beautiful around there.

My other grandparents lived on the Kent coast, and we usually revisit old haunts there for a week each Easter with my parents - however, we couldn't go last year as I was nearly 9 months pregnant with DS2 and this year we collectively decided it would just be too difficult with the babies and all their associated paraphernalia! Plus they nap in the afternoon, but we like to go out for day trips to various castles, beaches, stately homes etc and while I'm happy for them to miss a nap occasionally, a whole week's worth doesn't bear thinking about! 😱

So yesterday my parents flew out to California to visit my middle brother and his family. Their DD, my DN, is a couple of months older than DD3. They haven't seen each other for nearly a year, so you can imagine how excited they were to go! I'm so happy for them all, I know how much they miss my DB and his family, as do I. But I can't afford 7 plane tickets to California, no way!!! Grin

I'm just going to have a nice Easter break at home with the children and try to relax!

Keep thinking it's Friday tomorrow though...Confused

SassynSane · 06/04/2017 05:32

Urghhh....crap night and can't sleep....wish it was Friday today Malcolm because tired & don't want to go to work! Might just cuddle back down and see if I can get a bit more sleep...catch you both later!

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/04/2017 05:43

Morning! Drinking coffee, watching Power Rangers. Hmm

Welcome to this early in the morning Sassy! Hope you get back to sleep. I woke up at 2.58 but went back to sleep until 5, DS2 came in soon after I got up. BrewBrewBrew

SassynSane · 06/04/2017 07:08

Nope, didn't get back to sleep...also woke around 3am-ish then dozed, but awake around 5am...gonna be a very early night tonight! Cheers for the Brew Bath, def gonna need it today. Big mtg this morn at work to get through before I can sleep at my desk Wink

Drive through Blandford on way Malcolm & yes beautiful part of the world. Some downtime at home sounds good too!

Right...strong Brew time!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 06/04/2017 07:30

Oh no, Sassy, not again! Have a Brew to get you through. Are you off tomorrow?

Glad you managed to get back to sleep, Bath.

I can hear DD3 playing in her cot on the monitor so I'd better get up and through the shower asap!!!

OP posts:
SassynSane · 06/04/2017 07:39

Thanks! Yes last day today then the general madness that is packing etc tomorrow before driving down tomorrow aft. Early night tonight definitely! Hope you both have a good day 😊

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 06/04/2017 11:49

Finished my first square for ZombieLad's blanket. It's a pattern called 'Mum in Treble' which seemed appropriate.

That's lovely Malcolm 😊👏 Flowers.

Meeting finished and eating lunch. Shattered but will be finished in 2.5hrs and then hols....yaaaay! Hope your days are going well Smile

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 06/04/2017 15:18

Am sitting on the sofa making the most of the two youngest being in for their naps and trying to finish off another square. Which would be easier had I not misread the pattern, so I'm now having to do some fudging...BlushConfused

Not long to go now, Sassy!

Hope your day's going well, Bath.

OP posts:
BathshebaDarkstone · 06/04/2017 15:47

Had the other chicken etc pie for lunch, went to Sainsbury's, in the park until suppertime. Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/04/2017 17:03

Back home, making cottage pie for supper. Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/04/2017 18:33

Putting one to bed, the other's going in half an hour.

Misheard lyric from DD: "walked out this morning, don't believe what I saw, hundred billion bottoms washed up on the shore." Grin

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 06/04/2017 19:00

Bath GrinGrinGrin at your DD!

Here's my second square. The pattern says that the Poppy expresses strength of character, sincerity and generosity. I thought it pretty much summed things up.
