Why the fuck am I awake?

Welcome user, I think when I joined I just took the plunge into a thread I found interesting.

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 07:02

Morning Brew Um don't know Bath? You ok? What time did you go to sleep? I didn't get to bed until gone 1am so knackered this end but due to late night rather than early morn....between the two of us there's a decent night's sleep in there somewhere Grin

Anyway hope everyone has good days. I am being the Easter Bunny and doing Easter stuff at DDs school today. No rest for the wicked Wink Could've def done with more sleep to get through that! Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 07:22

I went to bed at 8.20 and went to sleep at about 9. I think I got 6.5 hours sleep. Hmm

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 04/04/2017 07:23

Morning all!

Hoping today is slightly less comedic than yesterday!

To top it all off, I realised AFTER the chap had left that I had a big splodge of cream on my right boob, just where my nipple should be! Blush Bless him, he didn't bat an eyelid, but I shudder to think what he thought!!! You couldn't make my life up, sometimes!

Today DD2 is going to a friend's house for a sleepover as DD1 has got three friends coming round for a sleepover for her birthday. Four 13-year old girls - poor DS1 and DH are going to retreat to the living room and do manly things like playing Xbox!

DS1 has also got his driving theory test this morning, so it's all go here!

Bath, I hope you managed to get to sleep? It's horrible when you wake up in the early hours and just can't go back to sleep again, it happens to me every now and again too.

Sassy, have fun! 🐰🍫🍬🍭 You're a glutton for punishment, but your DD is ever so lucky to have a Mum like you! Hope all goes smoothly and you're not too exhausted by the end of the day.

User, welcome. We're a friendly bunch here, do feel free to stay and chat if you like.

Right, I'd better get up and through the shower before I start my busy day!

Have a good one, all and wish me luck!

Both DC were up early, DS2 at 5.50, DD at 6.10, had coco pops granola, the DC are painting rocks in their room, I'm drinking coffee and watching BBC breakfast news. Grin

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 07:33

Thanks Malcolm Smile Running egg hunts all afternoon on not enough sleep for lots and lots of overexcited Primary kids...what on earth could be better? GrinConfused

Hope DD1 has a good time....I'd prob start on the medicinal Wine quite early! Hope your day is less fluid filled today Wink

Bath think I got around 4-5hrs....urghh

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 07:39

Malcolm Grin @ the cream on the boob!

No I didn't get back to sleep, I don't usually when I wake up. The plan is to try and stay awake until 10.40 tonight. Hmm

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 07:42

Thanks Sassy! you'll need it today! Grin

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 07:50

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 10:33

Mmmm Gin and Cake...

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 10:35

Oopsie...might have accidentally eaten an Easter choc...think it was a spare...hoping so otherwise my rep for being an evil children's chocolate stealer will be very much deserved!! LOL Grin

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 10:48

Phew. Sorted boxes of chocs out...the small one I ate was a random escapee from a bag that must have burst open in store but that I didn't pick up so was a bonus "freebie"....hurrah....not evil children's chocolate stealer...and relax GinGrinHalo

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 10:53

Why are my DC drinking hot chocolate? Confused

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 10:55

Maybe that's the quickest way of ingesting it to hide it from the evil phantom children's chocolate stealer!! Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 10:59

You could be right! Grin

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 11:03

Today's DC have got it all sussed!! Right must stop being distracted by MN and go do some quick domestics before the school Easter madness....hope all enjoy their hot chocs & don't have nightmares about evil chocolate stealing women!!! Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 11:04

Heating up a steak and ale pie i made the other day for lunch. Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 11:15

Hope sleepover started off ok Malcolm?

Bath your lunch sounded lovely!

Hope you've both had a good day. Back to work for me tomorrow but just for couple of days as off with DD on Fri Smile

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 21:57

Had fish pie for supper, the DC were in bed by 7, I'm in bed now, hanging it out for an hour so that I don't wake up at 3.25 again!

Could someone tell me something riveting to keep me awake please? Grin

SassynSane · 04/04/2017 22:03

No pressure hey Bath? LOL! Lots of random MN threads to keep you awake am sure. My DD told me a joke earlier so I'll throw that your way... What do you get if you cross a Spaniel, a Poodle and a Rooster? Yep....a CockerPoodleDoo Grin

How's BathsLad? Any new update?

BathshebaDarkstone · 04/04/2017 22:14

Love it! Grin

BathsLad's home while they decide whether he's well enough for the op. Pharmacy kept him waiting for 2 hours last night, he didn't get home until after 8, did a bit on his computer updating apps, as it had been switched off for a month, then crashed out. He had a Chinese with dumplings for supper, there's enough left for his lunch tomorrow. Grin
