Morning Hope you're both ok this morning? I have manic work day to get through but then get DD home this eve. Yay! Can't wait Still tired though managed more sleep last night thankfully though still a bit broken. Anyway hope we all have a great day

DD home. Happy Sassy 😊 She's on really good form and is happy and we had a lovely reunion! I have seen a real change in her personality wise though. She seems much more grown-up. I think partly because when she's away from me she becomes more independent. So happy that she's home. I know it sounds sad probably, but I feel complete again!

Mental day at work. Off now though, yay! Hope you've both had a good day?

Had chicken, ham hock, leek and tarragon pie for lunch, DH and DS2 played football in the park, had New York deli style salt beef and Cheddar melt for supper, DS2 was in bed by 5.30, I'm watching Jamie at Home. 🍗⚽😴🍸🍺🍻🍷🍹

Food was so good today you told us twice! LOL I made us homemade tuna pasta bake this eve (wholemeal pasta, tuna, sweetcorn, olives, feta cheese, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, topped with cream cheese and then grated cheddar)...was lovely!

Glad DD back without any drama, Sassy and that you had a lovely reunion.

EDBD - I think DD1 stayed at The Albion when she went on her Year 6 residential with her school! She had a fantastic time.

DS2 had cookies and cream from his Graze box, DM's meeting us for breakfast in the Sainsbury's café at 9.20 and he needed something to tide him over, did wash, put uniforms and PE kits away, renewed tax credits online, watching Ninjago, the same episode over and over. 📀💻🍪😇

Yes Malcolm, the DC get a kids' box between them, I once ordered a protein box for myself with the idea that protein fills you up, I ate the whole box in 30 minutes! 😳

There's a good mix of sweet and savoury, and you can bin snacks online that you don't like, and they'll never send you them. ☺

DS2 had a kids' breakfast, DM had a cheese and ham omelette, I had scrambled eggs and bacon, went to the Disney store in Oxford Street, DM bought DS2 a Spiderman, went to McDonald's for lunch, DS2 had a cheeseburger happy meal, DM just had a Coke, I had a Louisiana Stack meal, went to DM's flat, where EDLad also lives, I said I was pleased he was using the Candy's Hug, he said, "Do I have to give it back now I don't have cancer anymore?" 😆 Back home, DS2 crashed out on the sofa, so the chicken korma I made for his supper will be his lunch for tomorrow, I'm in bed now. 🍳🍔🍟🍗😴

No, I think he's jumping the gun a bit, he's awaiting results from scans. He does look a million times better than this time last year, he's got his old olive skin back.

If he does get the all clear, K&P can market Candy's Hugs as a cure for cancer! 😆

You know I had my friend round on Sat eve and she had found out the day before that her DM was v poorly? She just msgd to say she died suddenly yesterday. So very sad and although poorly not expected at all. Rubbish! She's obviously gone home (London) but I expect we will be drinking lots of wine together very soon....
