We like coffee. We like cake. And we definitely like to chat!

Think it was Line Of Duty Malcolm Missing DD lots Always harder when we've had just had a hol together as we get to spend loads of time together so it's a bit of shock to the system. And this weekend friends are either away or busy with family so lots of time by myself. I will mostly be spring cleaning I think! And back to the ideal tenant

Morning! I woke up at 4.50, DS2 woke up at 5.20, DD woke up at 6.15, had chocolate pancakes, watching Freaktown.

Good idea Malcolm! he doesn't have to know we don't have a lawn

Morning Didn't go to bed until gone midnight but had a decent sleep and still in bed contemplating getting up. Domestic day for me catching up after hols. Washing machine will be earning its keep. Definitely missing my view this morn. All a bit cloudy and grey Hope everyone has a good day

Hi both. Hope you've had a good day? Mainly domestic this end with the odd LOL moment....had a shower earlier and realised no shower gel. Found small bottle tucked in the corner. There was a reason it was tucked away....it was part of a Secret Santa gift from work (don't ask) and it's strawberry scented glitter shower gel. I now smell very fruity and I sparkle where the sun most definitely doesn't shine! Not sure whether it's a good thing am on my own, or whether am currently wasting my fruity sparkle alone on my sofa! LOL!

Went to local shop today to grab Easter Egg for DD....wasn't able to get anything for past week as away and with her 24-7. Clearly left it too late, nothing left! Managed to grab her a Lindt bunny at least. Hopefully that will be ok!

Ugh. Am still up with DS2. Not been to sleep yet. Have changed him, fed him, used teething gel and granules, given Calpol, had him in bed with me, changed him again...he's just done a massive poo and now I'm praying he goes to sleep!

The two top front teeth are so close to coming through I can see their outline under his gum. 😩😴😴😴

Morning! I woke up at 4.10, the DC woke up at 4.20! They found their Easter egg and bunny, now watching Power Rangers.

Morning Early start/late night for you two. How's DS2 now? Hope you all finally got some sleep? Not slept all that well this end either and shattered 😣 Our thread is going to be yawning a lot today. Hope you both have a nice Easter Sunday. Will be continuing with my spring clean this end!

No chance for me once they were up!

They had more chocolate with their chocolate pancakes, had steak and ale pie for lunch. Hooray my phone dictionary remembered !

Got about 3 1/2 hours sleep in the end. Not sure now if it's teething or the bug I had a few days ago. Maybe a combination of both. He's had several explosive nappies this morning and is on his third change of clothes.

I'm not feeling too bad, tired, but manageable. DD1 is redeeming herself by being very helpful and giving the babies lunch for me.

Sassy - if you go to the supermarket tomorrow, they may well be selling off all the Easter-themed chocolate. DH went last year and got massive boxes of Peanut M&Ms for 70p! Might be worth a try?

Ooh good shout Malcolm, yes will go take a look as need to get some stuff anyway . Glad to hear DD1 behaving! Hope DS2 improves soon.

EDBD if you can't have double chocolate today then there is something wrong with the world!

Had steak stroganoff, putting DS2 to bed now.

Sounds good EDBD . Made spectacular salad for supper last night which had loads left of so that was tonight's supper sorted too (chicken, olives, eggs, feta, beetroot, green beans, potatoes, avocado, all the usual salad stuff, red onion, peppers, croutons, cashew nuts & homemade dressing....lush).

Quiet day this end. Washing and tidying. Def need to get out of the house tomorrow. Sassycat is lovely but her conversational skills are definitely lacking (!) & feeling a tad lonely now .

It looks delicious too! DD won't eat salad though or anything remotely healthy so I'd have to make it for lunches for me when they're back at school. Definite salad !

That's precisely why I made it last night and enough for 2 night's in a row. DD also wouldn't touch most of it so indulging myself whilst she's not here. Was tres yummy
