1. Mr C's valentine surprise was dyeing the water in our (very small and less posh than it sounds as it's ten a penny here) pool bright pink and making cocktails on the side so we had a Club Tropicana evening. Was properly funny. He didn't wear the mankini the boys were threatening me that he'd bought.

2. ds2 had a delivery of two huge boxes of chocolate cakes with strawberries on the top from very fancy patisserie in town. Anonymous. Cue much detective work. All enjoyed stuffing our faces with them. I have surmised someone loaded after casually enquiring about cost of said cakes in the shop yesterday pm! All good as twinnos are still growing and are still costing me vast sums of money. One key plus of heatwave is no need to buy trousers.

So fom 4:30 - 6:30 I've been wedged between snuffly/snory H, and bony wiggly DS [bleary-eyed emoticon] I did get a bit of sleep but not much. I thought I could leave DS with the babysitter Xbox, but no - he wants company while he ignores me plays on the xbox
