DH has started mending one of the doors. Instead of starting this first thing in a morning when he's off alllll of next week, he picks mid Saturday afternoon. The door has been completely removed. It is the door I shout at nicely ask everyone to close to keep the room warm. No chance of door being put back until late tomorrow at the earliest. Prat.

I blew out DH's birthday weekend (ok, not his actual birthday) to go on WenchVacEuroTour < guilt ridden hard core wench> Apparently his mother was very cbf when she heard. I was probably meant to spend the weekend tidying the house in his honour She didn't approve when I had a mini-meet on my birthday either, instead of spending the entire day being dutiful wife and mother.
