Malcolm they have golden days now instead of golden time, and that's what they voted for. They all took cuddlies as well, DD took the pikachu in the picture. They're making cupcakes this morning and watching a DVD this afternoon. DS2 now wants a pyjama day for his next golden day! Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 22/02/2017 10:19

I'm having a cheese and mushroom omelette today. Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 22/02/2017 10:23

Thanks on behalf of BathsLad for all your kind words. Smile

SassynSane · 22/02/2017 16:46

Loving the pink converse Bath Smile

LOL Malcolm - sounds like something out of Willy Wonker! Not sure I could eat enough of them to turn purple might clash with my hair Grin Will keep you informed!

BathshebaDarkstone · 22/02/2017 22:27

DD chose the trainers herself, she has great taste! Grin

Did wash, laid out uniforms for tomorrow, made DD's snack for times tables club, had chicken, rice and veg, in bed now. Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 05:34

Morning! Drinking coffee and watching BBC world news, DS2's up and playing Ninjago on his tablet. GrinBrew

SassynSane · 23/02/2017 06:18

Morning Brew Woken by the wind! It's lively out there. Safe school runs/commutes later everyone!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 06:27

Morning all! Ugh, it sounds HIDEOUS out there! And I've got to take DD1 to school which means driving through the nearby forest - I shall try to avoid falling branches!

Have a good day, everyone!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 07:36

And now DD1 and DD2 are having a massive argument. They share a room and DD1 is so messy which drives DD2 (and me!) insane. This morning there were several items strewn all over the floor which DD2 came down to complain about and now it's escalated into shouting 😩. DD1 was up late last night finishing homework, so she's tired, which is never a good combination. I'm trying not to lose my temper, but it's bloody hard, especially when I'm trying to give DD3 and DS2 their milk and breakfast before we have to take DD1 to school in about 10 minutes' time. Ugh. Anyone care for a 13-year old who is really lovely bloody awful and great useless at tidying?!!!

SassynSane · 23/02/2017 07:43

Fab offer Malcolm but think I might pass on that one if you don't mind Grin Keep those teeth gritted and count to 10 FlowersGin

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 07:47

Emphatically no thanks Malcolm! Leave them to it.

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 09:17

In the Sainsbury's café having a filter coffee (machine's broken Sad) and waiting for my scrambled eggs and bacon. GrinBrew

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 09:22

Bath, that is terrible news! No latte?! 😩

I've just dropped my car into the garage, it needs a new rear exhaust and two new front tyres. There goes £500 I DON'T have at the moment!!!

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 09:29

Oh no Malcolm! Have you got any nice relatives you can borrow from?

I know, I'm utterly devastated at the lack of latte. Sad

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 10:02

Luckily, I have a 'flexible friend', Bath!!! Although might not be so flexible after this

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 10:07

See, I don't have a flexible friend, so I have to beg from relatives if things like that happen, but the most has been a couple of hundred for a crown for XH (he swallowed his old one! Grin)

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 16:05

Flipping heck, it's a bit bloody windy out there!!! There are trees down, branches all over the roads, fence panels and aerials blown over and my bird table blew down!!!

Hope everyone else is okay.

SassynSane · 23/02/2017 17:53

Doris is taking liberties with the bird table Malcolm Grin It was worst here early a.m. (5a.m. to around 7.30a.m.) hence early wake up...school drop-off / commute was done v slowly today and the long way round avoiding exposed roads / bridges! Trees down too but apart from my neighbour's outside solar lantern being in my garden, everything else seems to be ok in the immediate vicinity. Hopefully it should ease off soon though.....but might use "wind shock" as an excuse for a medicinal Wine later!

Ditto, hope all are ok!

UnbornMortificado · 23/02/2017 17:59

Was just coming on for a weather report, it's horrendous in the NE the bloody trampolines moved and my DD's are climbing the walls.

The below made me chuckle.

A whisky/whiskey for the Zombie
BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 18:01

In the Sainsbury's café, DS2 had chicken nuggets, mash and beans, DD had cottage pie, she and I had triple chocolate fudge cake, DS2 had coffee and walnut cake.

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 22:10

Unborn, that made me laugh! I'm a soft southerner and it's true, I panic when we get anything out of the ordinary!

Sassy, liberties indeed!!! Not only my bird table but one of my fence panels became the latest victim this evening! Bloody Doris.

Bath, I did the troops chicken pie, mash and beans this evening so not a million miles away from what your DS2 had although DD2 insisted on spaghetti with hers. The coffe and walnut cake is an inspired choice, it's one of my favourites! Will BathsLad be well enough to join you soon?

Scratchy hope all is well with you and you haven't had Doris taking liberties with you as well!!!

Night, all.

BathshebaDarkstone · 23/02/2017 22:15

Malcolm he's back in for chemotherapy tomorrow, he pretty much lives in hospital now. Sad

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 23/02/2017 22:25

Oh bugger, Bath. I'd hoped he had another week or so before he had to go back in, although I knew it was soon. Bastarding cancer. Angry

I hope it goes smoothly for him and the chest infection stays away this time.

Some Flowers for you both.

UnbornMortificado · 23/02/2017 22:26

Oh bath I'm sorry Sad

I said it when DD was in hospital but I don't know how parents deal with that on a long term or regular basis, your made of strong stuff as is he Flowers

BathshebaDarkstone · 24/02/2017 04:33

It's determination to live on his part Unborn.

Morning! Drinking coffee and watching Hard Talk. GrinBrew
