Evening! What I had hoped was going to be a nice relaxing week is rapidly turning into anything but!
DD1 had dance exam practice today right in the middle of town. Parking is very difficult, lots of residents-only parking, one way streets, etc. We had to go to the dance shop to buy her uniform beforehand, we got there 30 mins early only to find that they'd forgotten it was half term and hadn't laid on any extra staff! It was absolute chaos and we ended up being nearly 10 minutes late for the exam class, cue a huge screaming and crying meltdown from DD1 because she hates being late. Not good. Then the flipping class overran so consequently the babies were ever so late having lunch and then going for their naps - which meant they woke up late and DD3 has only gone to sleep about 20 minutes ago, even though she was put to bed around 7.30! At least she was playing happily and talking/singing to herself in her cot but still!
DD2 is having her friend over for a sleepover tomorrow and is massively excited. They're so sweet together, like peas in a pod! However not much sleeping will be done, I suspect...
Then DS1 has his first driving lesson tomorrow!!! It only feels about 10 years ago that I was learning to drive. How can I possibly have a son old enough to drive?!
Oh and my phone pinged up a reminder that we're booked into the dentist on Friday 😩. I booked it way back in the summer and had totally forgotten. Friday was meant to be my day where I didn't have to get up early or go out anywhere. Grrrr!
I had Chinese tonight too, Bath! Not takeaway, unfortunately, just from Sainsbury's but it was very nice! Not enough left over for tomorrow though 🐷🐷🐷.
