Bath I like reading about your day.

How's your son doing? My 3 are all over the place atm with various teenagery stuff though FidBoy1 has just turned 20 so I really should be off the hook

UnbornMortificado · 12/02/2017 11:07

Fid usual afterpains but nothing serious thanks for asking. That was a lovely thing to do I definitely would of give my right arm for a gold out bed.

DD1's Dad isn't too bad, definite Disney Dad and favourite parent due to this but he did take a couple of days off work so I could go home and get a bath and see DD2 and DH.

It's give me a new found respect for parents who have to go through it regularly or long term!

I've attached a picture of said "bed"

SassynSane · 12/02/2017 11:16

Still Envy thou Malcolm....drier here so chance of settling but no sign of snow....might have to get the leotard back on! Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 12/02/2017 11:51

He was in 1 hospital the other night for his chemotherapy, he was transferred yesterday to the other hospital so they can keep an eye on the CF. Smile

Fiderer · 12/02/2017 12:00

Did bloody cheek. If so then:

Did (and should have done earlier) leave ArseEx
Did (despite his being a crap dad) & do have 3 wonderful children
Did (and don't regret it) recently have a fling with a Cuban guitar player
Did bloody enjoy that Wink

SassynSane · 12/02/2017 12:25

"fling with a Cuban guitar player" bows to the power of Did wonders if he has a brother Smile

Bath have you had any word from CAMHS about DS2 in regards to offering some more sessions or help? (Sorry if I've missed an update I have skimmed)

Hope BathLad is as well as he can be as well.

BathshebaDarkstone · 12/02/2017 20:26

BathsLad's doing fine, he'll be sound asleep and having his night feed now.

No word from CAMHS yet, they said it would be a few weeks before they wrote to me.

Evening, all! Managed to get my nice relaxing day in the end. Did a couple of hours of crocheting while the babies had their nap, then went over to my parents for a l

Poo. Pressed the wrong button!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 12/02/2017 22:12

What I was going to say was that I went to my parents for a lovely Sunday lunch in the afternoon, then back home, kiddies sorted and put to bed and I got to sit and watch some of my Sky Box Set whilst finishing off my square. Bliss.

Tomorrow I'm meeting one of my oldest and closest friends to walk her dogs in the forest near where I live. As I can't get my own dog until the smallest children are older, this is the next best thing! Hopefully it won't rain but if it does, we'll just put on our wellies and wrap up warm! Hot chocolates when we get back to warm us up. Yum.

Hope everyone else has had a good day!

SassynSane · 12/02/2017 22:24

Hi all, checking in to say evening. Have had THE most surreal day - long story short was in art gallery (went in as they have nice café) with DM & DD & there was an installation entitled "Playing Up" which was about empowering DCs to go wild resulting in me being "walked" by DD attached to a lead on my hands & knees. Top rode up & DD loudly announced "ooh look at my doggy's tattoo" .... Mortifying! No idea how I get myself into such random situations but definitely one of my more surreal days! Grin

Your day sounds good Malcolm, might join you, virtually anyway, for your walk tomorrow to get over my weird day today Wink Anyway wishing everyone a peaceful evening - night!

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/02/2017 05:15

Morning! Drinking coffee, watching BBC world news. Brew

Nothing wrong with showing off a tattoo Sassy! There's a lot to be said for long ponchos though! Grin

UnbornMortificado · 13/02/2017 05:17

Morning Brew

My sleep pattern is ducked. Lovely to be in a proper bed again even if I have to put up with DH's snoring.

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/02/2017 05:44

Earplugs are your friend.

SassynSane · 13/02/2017 07:30

Morning everyone Brew Haha....that made me LOL Bath Grin but good suggestion.... wanders off to check out ponchos on Amazon

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/02/2017 07:52

DS2 woke up at 5.25, DD woke up at 5.45, had coco pops and Shreddies, watching Pokémon. Grin

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 13/02/2017 08:06

Morning! DS2 had me up between 2.35 and about 4 😩😴. Little darling decided he wanted to play and cried every time I put him back in his cot. I was worried because we found a hair tourniquet around one of his toes yesterday evening, so when I heard him cry I whipped him out to check it, when normally I'd leave him and see if he went back to sleep. His toe will be fine, but he's got a flipping deep line around the middle and it's cut through the skin 😢. The worrying thing is, he wasn't even crying or upset before we found it. It was only as we were getting him ready for bed that DH noticed it. I felt awful. It could have been like that for hours, who knows. I checked his circulation by pressing on his toenail and luckily it was fine. Scary stuff, though.

Sassy, your day yesterday made me laugh! The things we do for our children, eh?!

Anyway, I'm off to start the mammoth task of rounding up all the troops for our dog walk later. Wish me luck!

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/02/2017 08:12

Mallet Malcolm? Grin Good luck and copious amounts of BrewBrewBrew.

SassynSane · 13/02/2017 08:22

Hope DS2 ok Malcolm, one of those things, don't feel awful, he's clearly fine if he's enjoying nocturnal playtime Flowers

Yes the things we do....I was also "remote controlled" involving ear piece with DD other side of gallery telling me what to do via walkie-talkie....not sure about the 'art' value....more like the gallery taking the absolute p*! Blush

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 13/02/2017 22:14

Evening! Hope everyone had a lovely day.

Dog walk was lovely, made me yearn for my own again, but not until the children are bigger . DD3 is fascinated obsessed with dogs, so she was in heaven and even got to hold one of the leads!

DD1 and 2 were bickering like cats and dogs (see what I did there?!) before we left and I MAY have shouted something about this is why we never go anywhere or do anything - however all was fine after some nice fresh air.

Sassy, are you sure you weren't being filmed for some kind of Beadle's About programme yesterday?! (Showing my age there!). It sounds pretty surreal!

Oh well, am off to bed now. Will hopefully have more time to post tomorrow.

Night!

SassynSane · 13/02/2017 23:15

OMG Blush I really hope not Malcolm, not without the realms of possibility though given the randomness of my life! Grin Glad you had a good day. Hope everyone has has a good Monday x

BathshebaDarkstone · 14/02/2017 05:14

Morning! Drinking coffee and watching BBC world news. GrinBrew
