Such a wonderful woman who will be missed by so so many people.
No words seem enough, just wanted to raise a glass 🥃 to toast the legend that is Zombie & the legacy she's left behind.x

Last night I dreamt I was knitting squares for Candy's Hugs - I am actually waiting for my wool to arrive so I can have a go, sadly the square in my dream was huge and amazingly good, my real life attempts are very unlikely to match up!

How are the sore heads this morning? I saw mention of the Zombiecats up thread. Did Zombie manage to find them a new home? I do hope so.

Zombie cats went in to rescue a couple of weeks ago- they will be looked after.

It feels very odd still, that she's gone.

I never spoke to Zomb on any of her threads, but I did on others. I'll always remember TheZombieIAm in a Yoda voice in my head. It always brings a smile to my face. DD points out to me that Yoda's not a zombie!

I am blessed. Truly blessed. There are so many people I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting in real life but who consistently show their love.
By far the largest contingent are my Mumsnet friends. Yes, that “nest of vipers”. Lovely vipers. Absolutely incredible vipers.
For this note I will speak about some of those vipers. I will not name names. They will know who they are. At least I hope they will.
Some have endured the loss of a child to the hideous and indiscriminate disease we know as cancer. At least one has been widowed twice leaving them to deal with not only their own grief but also that of their children. Some cope daily with the challenges of fighting for their severely disabled child; having to fight the system that should be supporting them, not throwing ever more obstacles in their way.
At the ripe old age of 64 the prospect of death is far less of a challenge than any of that.
Yet, each and every one of those friends appear to have taken me into their hearts. They are often the first to offer words of encouragement. The first to demonstrate their love and support.
I salute them and ask you to do the same.

I've just had a thank you/acknowledgement from the Severn Hospice for my donation (wish it could've been more).

It's amusing me to think of the lady going through all of these donations for someone called Zombie from a Phalanx Member/Botherer/Lurker.

I hope it would appeal to Zombie's sense of the absurd.
