For new years eve I am giving up sugar in tea. I fully expect this to cause me to lose a stone in approx one week.

We're going to my friend's country pile for NYE. My best uni mates are there and all our kids play and let us chat and get drunk. I used to hate nye when it involved enforced overpriced clubbing in sub-zero temps. I love this current arrangement though! One plus about getting older.

Going clubbing on NYE is awful but I wouldn't mind a nice dinner with wenches with lot of Prosecco

I am back from our family grouch fun day out.

I don't like the Star Wars franchise. The films are repetitive, predictable and treat the audience like morons by telegraphing the plot. We went to see Rogue One today. It was Fab! (as well as all of the above of course!) Must try to remember that I don't need HBFs in leather intellectual stimulation to be able to enjoy entertaining fluff.

We are now home and DS is behaving a spoilt grotbag because we won't let him have any more screen time until he's written some thank-you letters. The Joys.

Just got back from Rogue One. Found it a bit boring tbh, too much shooting and exploding and stuff. And it was depressing. And I knew exactly what was going to happen, cos it's a prequel and I saw a couple of spoilers by accident.

Just been trying on a load of stuff I'd collected from Next. It included four pairs of trousers. First pair were huge, could have taken them off without unfastening them which I suppose could be handy but length was great. Second pair were about three inches too short and I could barely fasten them. Third pair (which were for work) just about long enough but a bit tight round the waist. Fourth pair couldn't even get them on - they got stuck on my calf and my foot wouldn't go all the way through. ALL THE SAME SIZE! Fucksake.

I've kept two skirts, a pair of shoes and a bag. Pissed off about the trousers though.
