Which is mightily impressive for sitting on a throne all day and existing primarily on carbs (and the odd avocado), isn't it?

Anyone else got an arse of steel?

Wahey! Gin! Hick!

QueenMortifauxcado · 30/01/2017 22:32

where's the wine?

TheMortificadosDragon · 30/01/2017 23:16

Wine and Gin

No good to me, ruins a dragon's delicate chemical equilibrium, mine's a Brew

paxillin · 30/01/2017 23:51

How do you make fire from tea? Tea is for Miss Marple.

TheMortificadosDragon · 30/01/2017 23:55

Trade secret. It has to be a controlled process - leastwise for civilized castle-dwelling dragons.

TheMortificadosDragon · 31/01/2017 00:06

And has it not occurred to you that there may be a reason why Miss Marple's brains aren't addled?

paxillin · 31/01/2017 00:08

She's sharp, I give you that. But not very... intimidating, no? No scales, either.

TheMortificadosDragon · 31/01/2017 00:23

Whereas a large creature with scales, wings, superbly controlled fire-breathing and un-addled brain...??

Its lucky for you I am (as previously mentioned) civilized.Hmm

paxillin · 31/01/2017 11:43

Once upon a time, there was a fierce dragon sitting in the rose garden behind her cottage in St Mary Mead, slurping tea and knitting baby clothes. She solved tricky whodunnits in her spare time and played Bridge with retired colonels and vicars' wives... I can see why Christie went with little English lady instead.

TheMortificadosDragon · 31/01/2017 13:27

Unless they're the small invisible breed, dragons are admittedly rubbish at lurking behind doors to overhear vital scraps of information, and liable to destroy evidence with the swish of a tail. The idea that a dragon could become a detective is quite ridiculous really.

HappyFlappy · 31/01/2017 19:42

How do you make fire from tea? Tea is for Miss Marple.

Miss Marple is an Honorary Dragon, Pax.

All of those between-the-wars Spinster-Lady Detectives had the potential for "dragonitudeness".

paxillin · 31/01/2017 21:43

True. Do dragons also have the marply-ness potential? Do you guys sit around wearing cloche hats and cardigans like Miss Marple?

TheMortificadosDragon · 31/01/2017 21:50

Blushshhhh

HappyFlappy · 01/02/2017 07:28

I understand they do a lot of knitting, Pax, and are Strict But Fair with the Servant Classes.

TheMortificadosDragon · 01/02/2017 07:37

Knitting? With these feet? Hmm

TheMortificadosDragon · 01/02/2017 07:41

Hats though, very fond of a nice hat. hatdragons.tumblr.com/archive

paxillin · 01/02/2017 09:55

I suppose arm knitting is a no-starter. Claw-crocheting?

HappyFlappy · 01/02/2017 10:46

I must have been misinformed Dragon. I assumed you used your claws in lieu of needles.

TheMortificadosDragon · 01/02/2017 11:55

You two are just taking the piss now.Hmm

QueenMortifauxcado · 01/02/2017 22:30

But have you ever tried, dragon? You could be selling yourself short Wine

OP posts:
TheMortificadosDragon · 01/02/2017 23:32

Never let it be said I'm not up for a challenge.

The bad news is, I got my claws terribly tangled with wool.
The good news is, I incinerated it off.
The bad news (for someone) is that I'm flaming annoyed, literally.AngryDragon

QueenMortifauxcado · 01/02/2017 23:38

Sounds much like my experience of knitting Wine

OP posts:
paxillin · 01/02/2017 23:41

If you work together with another dragon, you could tail-knit. Humonous scale knitting, but you could knit turrets and drawbridges.

paxillin · 01/02/2017 23:44

Grin QueenMortifauxcado. Mine is all good intentions about learning it this time and the crushing realisation I produced yet another wonky non rectangle with knots and holes. Chuck, swear never to try again and nurse the repetitive strain injuries in my hands. Two years on, repeat.

QueenMortifauxcado · 02/02/2017 00:01

Ah, see your problem there is trying to knit rectangles. What happens if you try to knit holes? Wine
