Oh, this is on Sparks' Advent Calendar. I'd forgotten how much I love this, season 1 was amazing.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 04/12/2016 17:45

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/12/2016 17:50

Badders123 · 04/12/2016 18:14

LetUsPrey · 04/12/2016 18:39

I have actually got on the wrong train with DS1. Fortunately we realised before the train went anywhere and we got on the right one.

I carefully guided some tourists onto a tube train going the wrong way once Grin I was also going the wrong way, but that was small consolation for them. I forget which station it was, but it was a weird one where they went from all the same platform or some such...

Tea!

LetUsPrey · 04/12/2016 21:24

How's the tree looking Apricot? Was it today you were decorating it?

Really pleased with the headway I made with Christmas shopping. Bit stuck on things for DS1.

Watching NCIS with DS1. Gibbs still has the moustache. I think it goes in the next episode.

Sad Sad Sad wicked and bads. bads hope you can swing it somehow. wicked hope to see you later in the year!

Comtess · 05/12/2016 07:37

G'day wenchi

Well. What a weekend! We were treated to our first taste of a proper tropical storm with a massive supercell 35 degree heat, then lightening and hail! All these pics are much better than mine to give you the flavour of the amazing colours.

www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/weather/2016/dec/04/rip-brisbane-first-storm-of-summer-delivers-black-skies-and-then-a-beautiful-sunset

Power was out for a short while, seemed just like the valleys in the 70s... though somewhat warmer and less tinned peaches.

Fully enjoyed the 'Elk and H do London journey tracker. I always have those Party feet for heels. I have soft feet.

So, this week I mostly getting very excited about ds1 arriving. And panicking slightly that although I've had these Fridays off, I haven't actually made much progress, falling back into the old old story of needing the pressure to get anything done. Predictable.

Oooh btw apparently new Sherlock at new year. Who will be buying Christmas Radio Times to find out when so I can work my international timings out? 😄. Badders?

Badders123 · 05/12/2016 07:42

Yes comtesse
I shall be purchasing it on publication day

Head not too bad this morning fortunately Grin

Envy at those pics comtess, I love a good thunder storm & so rarely get them here

LetUsPrey · 05/12/2016 08:15

Morning wenches.

I see I don't need to leave the paracetamol out for Fancy.

I was just thinking this morning when DS1 was arriving Comtess and how excited you must be! Less tinned peaches made me Grin.

You'll know when Sherlock starts. You'll probably hear the excited scream from this side of the world.

Might get the Christmas RT...

Have fab days wenches and good luck at the physio Badderz x

Aaaarghhhhh!!!! It's the apocalypse!!!!!

"Photobombed by lightning." LOL.

Well it's minus fucking FIVE here this morning. Which no doubt is colder than Sweden again.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/12/2016 10:12

+5 here Madame Xmas Grin

Badders123 · 05/12/2016 10:16

Co op don't have them
Bastards

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/12/2016 10:20

apricot your blog was fab by the way - I really enjoyed reading it.

Contess Shock re Apocalypse. Looks like an ace thunderstorm, but I could live without that amount of heat - VERY easily. When I went out to Oz we flew by a tropical storm during the night, which was very spectacular and entertaining - and also a long way away. (phew) Has DS1 told you that he brought the flights forward and is arriving tomorrow?
Also - tinned peaches. Yum - staple food in this house, added to rice pudding. Obviously, really, fresh, juicy peaches are superior

The party feet thingies didn't work for Elk, they just transferred the pain elsewhere. I found the full-foot insert worked for me when Fancy and I were running late for a meet-up and had to stop at the Boots in the train station. Fortunately my boots were so big/socks were so thin that it didn't matter than the inserts were far too big for the actual boot, and wrapped round as a heel protector as well. Worked a treat actually.
