As above. It's late, and I'm too tired to be clever or witty. (Business as usual then Hmm )

If anyone needs me I'll be in the hayloft with Athos Grin

Evening wenches.

Excellent poster Wicked.

You had me a bit confused there Badderz then I realised you're on half term this week Grin

DS1 has done his homework and says he has put a lot of thought and work into it. DS2 has done some of his homework, played nicely with toys in another room enabling me to watch some more NCIS and then tidied up. If this is a virtual reality world - like in that Westworld programme you're talking about - then I am on the one hand I am pleased, but on the other hand what an absolute waste of a virtual reality set up!

Can you imagine? (Stupid question) The possibilities would be endless

LetUsPrey · 17/10/2016 20:50

A few surplus words in that last post. DH was talking and I was pretending to listen.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/10/2016 20:55

They do that don't they letUs - is yours wittering on about Football? Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh though - never mind Westworld - yes, we need MuskieWorld Grin but we would obvs. be nicer visitors than some of the sadistic gits who visit Westworld

I think he was Helen. It's what's on the telly anyway.

Star Trek had the right idea with that holodeck but obviously I think each wench's world would need to be more, ahem, private than that Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/10/2016 21:08

You'd need multiple worlds, or a time turner to fit in all the wenches if there was only one. Carefully cooridanted Tea visits so there was no need for poitny elbows. Unless you're happy the share of course Wink - of there was a thread earleir that made me think of you - muct find it again...

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/10/2016 21:08

TEAM visits, FFS - not visits to drink 'king tea.

Here we go - it was [[http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2756979-Strange-and-amusing-incidents-of-unwarranted-self-importance this thread all about examples unwarrented self importance]] - "Don't you know who I am???" etc...

True Fancy, but we don't want to be kept waiting in queues now do we? Wink

The wife leaned out of her seat and said in a penetrating voice, 'Don't be silly my good man. We're British! Drive on Edward.

Excellent thread helen Grin

LetUsPrey · 17/10/2016 21:31

I was reading that earlier - it's fab Grin

Someone once said to me "do you know who my father is?" I replied by asking "why, don't you?". She was not best pleased Grin

I think each wench would need her own virtual world, as well as having a joint WenchWorld.

FancyFancy · 17/10/2016 21:32

Oh letus that is a genius response Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 17/10/2016 21:36

Fab. That's the sort of reply I'd come up with about 3 hours later.
I loved the 'Drive on Edward' one as well Grin and the idea of diverting all awkward pauses onto the subject of Nutella Pancakes.

Oh and you can now get the Adult Colouring/Activity book: Dot-to-Hot: Dot-To-Dot Heart-Throbs from Heathcliff to Darcy The internet is a gift that keeps on giving Grin

To be fair she'd been in before and used the same comment on someone else (she was parking in our car park so she could go shopping and we're very limited on spaces) so I was ready for her if she tried it again whilst I was there. And she did.

Does the dot to dot book come with the same effect as the magazine in the A-ha Take On Me video, so that when you finish a picture it comes to life/you go into the picture?

And on that pondering, I shall retire to the hayloft. Night wenches x

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/10/2016 07:56

Moooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick 'hello' before I head off for BoringOfficeJob

Woke up at 1:45 am, and didn't get back to sleep for at least 45 mins... but on the plus side I woke up after a particularly daft dream.

Yesterday I was complaining to work colleagues that I'd been dreaming about work 'FFS - why can't I dream about hot musketeers...' Lo and behold, last night... Grin Well, it was a silly one rather than 'hot'

Was at what I can only assume was my brain's version of Comicon, queuing for photos (more like supermarket deli-counter queue tbh). But was in a flap because my camera didn't work I'd lost my purse. Elk came to find me (bless her) and I was last in, all hot and bothered.
Plonked down on chair next to TB for photo...
him: "You've had too much to drink"
me: Shock "No, I just look like a lobster because I'm too hot, but by the time I'd realised I was lobster-like it was too late to take my coat off because I'd have had to carry it, and still looked like a lobster"
him: starts nibbling my neck Shock Grin
me: collapses in giggles "stop it, that tickles"

Morning wenches.

Hurrah for dream Helen, complete with neck nibbling and giggling! Love the detail Grin

It's very rainy here. I can't really be arsed.

Have fab days wenches x

FancyFancy · 18/10/2016 08:44

Morning wenches looks grey.

Off for coffee this morning & must remember all the things I need from the shops while I'm in town. For once it's me with the broken headphones & not the DC, so that's top of the list.

Excellent dream helen. Neck nibbling is better than I've managed, although you do need to work on your subconscios being more um, permissive Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 18/10/2016 10:07

Is it Friday yet? Confused

LetUsPrey · 18/10/2016 12:13

'Fraid not Wicked. The day has crawled towards lunchtime.
