Mammoth knitting task completed...hurrah. Well, it's two minuscule hoodys in newborn size, but I've never managed to complete a knitted garment ever, so it's quite an achievement. Am now into baking mode, and mlleElk has got me all fired up to make Christmas crafts, she wants to sell them for charity bless her so in order to look saleable and not like they've been made by a seven year old, I've got to do it

That book is about mental decluttering, it teaches you to say no to things you really don't want to do, without causing offence. It's very irreverent, but fun.

I feel I should read that book (out of sight of DS) If only because of the amount of pearl-clutching on the Amazon reviews about the amount of fucks that are in the book. "If you are drowning in self-inflicted guilt about not remembering the date of your friend's cat's birthday while also trying to do the best you can at work and study, and get some sleep too, this book is for you."

Oh bloody hell. DH was supposed to be out until about 11 tonight so the plan was homework and reading with DS2 (done), put DS2 to bed (done), chivvy DS1 off laptop (done) and then after chivvying him to bed, settle down with a and catch up with NCIS. DH just came home.

That's bloody inconsiderate of him LetUs Unless he's chivvying DS1 to bed while you have and NCIS...

I've just defrosted the freezer. God knows what I've done to my back but I can't stand up straight. It's a chest freezer and I'm always afraid of falling in head first. I must do it more often, the baskets were welded to the sides.
