I think if I mentally combine TB's lip service and the AH 'open your present' sequence on a loop that should hopefully keep me awake for Mr C date night tonight. (We are off our for dinner in about 15 mins). I have new dress on sent by friend as late birthday present. I haven't had much Boden of recent times but this is a beaut.

Boys all out on razzle/sleepovers so no need to hurry home. Or maybe there will be .

Birthday celebrations all went very well, due to lack of effort. Gone are the days of party bags and parties thank goodness. Basically gave them a wodge of cash and they went out all day with friends and booked a minibus to pick them up and bus them all home. Easy peasy. Still made two separate cakes though (tradition). Fun fact - between four men/boys this week and my making two cakes we have used 30 eggs this week. 30. They will bankrupt me.

The blankets are lovely! I'd still rather wrap myself in TB's cardi of love though.

She didn't pay that^ though. She does Boden parties at her house so gets lovely discounts. Still a very lovely present though. I'm wearing with some shoe boots and anti VPL pants (fabric possibly too sheer for commando 😮).

Also, have I mentioned the weather here is just balmy. My welshness very confused by seasonal change but by god my hair looks better.
