Does anyone know who Tansy was and where she came from?
Dh got T&T's Pet Show when they were trying to raise money for Tansy's playgroup. In the picture are T&T, and a baby and a toddler.
The book is from the 70s.

Anyone any ideas?

Did mum have a baby? I kind of have a feeling I may have read one with a pregnant mum in them???

Hulababy · 10/06/2004 21:39

Can't find out who Tansy is but there is definitely a book called "(0721428517) Topsy and Tim and the new baby" so I guess she maybe their little sister.

Hulababy · 10/06/2004 21:41

Actually no sorry - this book is about T&T helping a friend get used to his new sister.

Hulababy · 10/06/2004 21:42

List of T&T books, with details of what they are about

littlerach · 11/06/2004 10:37

I thought that she was adopted or fostered, not sure why!!! In the one where they are bridesmaid and pageboy for teacher, the teacher refers to Tansy as her newest friend...

Posey · 11/06/2004 20:42

Littlerach, thats what dh thought but didn't know where this idea came from.
Hulababy, thanks for all the info. Had a look through the list but am none the wiser!

tansy was mentioned onthe other thred

Posey · 12/06/2004 22:01

Was she?

Was just having a lok on Amazon and there's a book called "T&T's new/little/baby brother" My brain's dead and I've forgotten exactly what oit was. Unfortunately no details were given.

Do they now live in Belford or did they just go to Belford fire station in the modern books.
In one of the early 80s books, they live in Hatchem.

there definitely is a small sibling for T and T.

in 'T and T and the wedding', mummy is pushing it in a pram and when she's cutting out the bridesmaids/pageboys outfits (she makes a dress for tansy too), the baby is crawling on the floor

i couldn't make out the sex but dd is sure it's a boy

PLEASE look at my other thread about Bonfire Night and Foggy Day

popsycal · 12/10/2004 11:39

wobblyknicks · 12/10/2004 11:40

bp - nope, Tansy is definitely a girl - I can't remember the name of the original book but they all trotted down to the adoption centre, met a social worker (whatever they called them back then), got Tansy (Tim wasn't happy about another girl) and trotted home again.

bakedpotato · 12/10/2004 11:41

there's tansy, and there's a baby too
