Does anyone know who Tansy was and where she came from?
Dh got T&T's Pet Show when they were trying to raise money for Tansy's playgroup. In the picture are T&T, and a baby and a toddler.
The book is from the 70s.

Anyone any ideas?

I'm so excited to have found this site! I so hope someone reads this

My best friend is currently going through a really rough time in her life and is working through the hard childhood she had. We spend time revisiting some of the nice memories to help her. I've already tracked down and bought a favourite toy she had, and would love to now get hold of a book she has spoken about.

I don't know much about it! That's the problem.

All I know is - it's a Topsy and Tim book (I read them too, so it's extra special) and the last page says (according to my friend!) - "Ha ha, hee hee, I'll be fitter than Josie!"

Has anyone got any ideas at all on which book that is?

I would so appreciate any of your help xxxxx

Thought it was Sports day but have checked and it's not.
Still looking

Could it be Ride their Bikes?
Don't have a copy of this one

Topsy and Tim at the Gym Club?

Unless she meant fitter in its more, er, modern sense, of course.

You are all so fantastic. I can't tell you how pleased I am that I might find it! I'd love more than anything to get it for her, and the fact you are all helping when you don't have to is awesome.

You are all stars xxx

Can someone confirm that the Topsy and Tim book with the line "... and the red haired man was Eric.." is "Busy Builders"? The name rings no bells but I think it must be this book. Thnaks.

cerys · 01/08/2007 12:53

Lolly99, the red haired man called Eric is the Tuesday book from the 60s/70s. My younger brother also had "busy builders" in the late 70s/80s and it's much the same story.

Master Robin Rupert is the Thursday book in the originals.

The new adopted baby was Teddy (Theodore) and we have a book from the 70s where Topsy Tim, Tansy and the parents go to get him from the adoption centre. He is only a few weeks old.

Lolly99 · 02/08/2007 21:50

Thanks very much, Cerys. I'll try to get hold of an original, unless the copy from my youth is still at my parents' house.

From the same book I also remember

"Let's make a start" said ???

"What's make a start?" said ????

I hope the book turns out to be as good as my memory is telling me it is...

Hi, I am trying to work out if we have got the whole topsy and tim vintage collection - does anyone know where I could get a title list?
