A new Topsy and Tim thread. I've got a question.

Does anyone know who Tansy was and where she came from?
Dh got T&T's Pet Show when they were trying to raise money for Tansy's playgroup. In the picture are T&T, and a baby and a toddler.
The book is from the 70s.

Anyone any ideas?

my sister bought a joblot on ebay for dd. but we have BIG GAPS
wobbly knicks, hate to be bringer of bad news, but i think you may have a leak in your roof. i can see a damp patch on your bathroom ceiling. better hop up there straight away and while you're up there, check to see if you have Bonfire Night/Foggy Day. if so, may I borrow if you can't spare them?

bp - if we really do have a leak I will be after blood!!!! Its a real kerfuffle to get up into the loft so won't be getting them until Xmas, soz. But am fairly certain that I never had Bonfire Night/Foggy Day but they will be available FOR LOAN ONLY if I find I do!!!

The ones I know I've got are (sorry for not knowing the titles);

The one where they go sailing and get some ducks in a bucket
The dentist one
The doctor one
The adoption one
The new baby one (even though I can't remember the sex of the baba!!)
The wedding one

....must have more, but will find out at Xmas!!!

bundle, i have only glanced at them in oxfam book bins, but the newer ones seemed to be v poor relations. they're like public safety announcements... also the illustrations aren't done by one of the adamsons, they're line drawings or something, and people's heads are correctly proportioned...

it simply won't wash!

Buying new Topsy and Tim books is like buying a new VW beetle over a classic one - very practical, worth the money but you'll never be 'in' and never get the true experience!!!

by the way - now you Topsy and Tim freaks have reactivated my obsession with all things nostalgic you can at least do me a favour and tell me if and where I can find a complete list of the OLD T&T books (to see if I've got them all or not) - PLEASE????
