Our beautiful leather clad lovelies have hung up their pauldrons, wrapped their thighs around their wenches horses and rode hard for the border. There'll be no more snogging in cupboards, or noshing on the Queen...s awful cooking. But we're not sad...oh no, we can keep this nonsense going ad infinitum, and there's plenty to look forward to as the Swaggerers stagger on in post muskie oblivion.

So keep the Cardinals finger flowing, and help yourself to the complementary Hot Chilean Nuts.

Now....S1 Ep1 anyone??

Rolls in loking bleary...
Apricot I've heard of The Calling - somewhere I have a CD, I think! I also have Bon Jovi and Def Leppard and Europe, but not seen them. Have seen the Quo.

Oblivious Scruffpot Tom was wearing almost exactly what he is in that pic with Santi (I think) plus a scarf and carrying a paper. (Elk - yes? It's a bit hazy tbh, I was too busy being astonished that I'd seen him Grin to actually remember detail) I would say we obviously chose the wrong night to go, except I don't fancy our chances of getting through the crush if OtherFans were out in force last night Grin and TeamA would have killed us for accidentally meeting Santi

Am reading 1st Coromorant Strike. Turns out to be quite a page turner. Bugger. Don't really have time for a page turner in my life just now

Comtess · 04/09/2016 13:58

Tournament

Comtess · 04/09/2016 13:58

Fucksake.

Why does some stuff not copy and then you post old shit that's in your clipboard or whatever.

Comtess · 04/09/2016 13:59

On a slightly tiddly note, I've tweeted JKR to see if she's definitely cast Tom. I'm sure she'll tweet me back. Grin

Comtess · 04/09/2016 14:00

Oh I've heard of the Calling. 'Wherever you may go' I know that one song anyway. 😄

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/09/2016 14:02

LOL at tiddly Comtess I'm sure you'll get a reply from JKR Hmm Grin

Comtess · 04/09/2016 14:04

Exactly. I thought the same H. It's not like she's busy or owt is it?

I've been soooo good not drinking recently and now I've had two mojitos and I'm well away.

ApricotCrush · 04/09/2016 14:08

Yep, Comtess that's the one. Their only big hit, shame really.

Hope you get a reply from JKR.

Grin Wink

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/09/2016 14:17

I have to say, for the wind-up potential, I'd have braved a scrum orderly queue of OtherFans to get the picture with Santi. "Soz Tom - oh, how are you by the way? Me and Elk just need a pic with Santi... 'scuse us..."

LetUsPrey · 04/09/2016 20:30

Hope headache goes quickly Badderz. Has your migraine passed Madame?

I may have watched the Poldark clip "what do you know of love?" a few times. When he took his billowy shirt off, how did Eleanor Tomlinson not just gawp and say "fucking hell"? A bit like the actress playing Adele in the first episode of Musketeers being very restrained when she was with AramiSanti. How on earth did she manage that? yes I know it's acting but they're still human beings with eyes

Was watching Versailles today. The actress who plays Henriette is very good. She might make a good Robin in the Strike TV programme - I'm sure she could do the accent.

LetUsPrey · 04/09/2016 22:48

Have watched Poldark.

Will have to watch parts of it again, in particular a couple of scenes just to ensure they complied with historical accuracy and whatnot. I'll probably be better off doing this alone.

Hoping to finish The Silkworm tonight. Bloody excellent.

MLGs · 04/09/2016 23:30

Am watching great British shirt off. Enjoying the shirt off parts if nothing else.

Is this a good time to say that I have always loved Wales....

MLGs · 04/09/2016 23:38

Ashamed at our lack of stalkerishness in team A!

FancyFancy · 04/09/2016 23:40

Have not yet seen Poldark - so much cycling to watch today, but am very encouraged by reading that letus needs to rewatch a few scenes.

It's always a good time to say you love Wales morelike

LetUsPrey · 04/09/2016 23:45

I would be a useless stalker. I don't think the stealth situation would be helped by me squealing "fucking hell IT'S ACTUALLY HIM!" and pointing towards them in an excited fashion.

Yy, Fancy. I couldn't give the scenes whole show my full attention as I was watching with DH and DS1 and could barely not drool. At least there was all the fighting to distract them in The Musketeers.

I should head to the hayloft.

MLGs · 05/09/2016 00:03

In the end I thought the whole thing was very good.

Must head to hayloft too.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/09/2016 00:09

LetUs you might turn into me though, lose the power of speech and just gape whilst thwacking your companion to try and communicate the words "It's only actually HIM!!!" via the means of percussion on their arm. (soz elk hope the bruising's gone now Grin )

I have read the first Cormorant Strike book. FFS. Now I shall have to work proper hard tomorrow later today to get work done that I didn't do tonight because I was busy speed-reading.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/09/2016 08:30

Right - 1st day back at school....
Shoes polished?
Uniform on?
Back-to-school haircut done?

Off you go boys...

Morning wenches. I did the arm thing to BestFriend when we were outside a gig waiting to go in. The singer I'd we'd gone to see walked past us and I hit BF's arm repeatedly going "it's him it's him it's him". She may have said "ow" Grin And then afterwards he walked down the side of the room and had to squeeze past me with his hands on my hips

ApricotCrush · 05/09/2016 08:49

Morning.

How do you read books so quickly? I haven't started on them yet.

Watched Poldark. Ashamed to say I slept through some of it. Shock Will have to watch again. Grin

More pics of Tom. Credit to @cuthrualens on Twitter for these and the Santi pics.

Group pics here if you want to see them. Hmm

Have DGS1 today, his last day before going back to school. He seems to have a mountain of homework still to be done. He's 5 ffs.

Homework over the summer holidays for a five year old?! Bit mean of them. Poor thing.

Grin at having to rewatch Poldark.

The books are just so good. Proper page turners. It's quite reassuring for me that I can still read a book this quickly as usually I get a few chapters in, put it down to do something else and then don't go back to it. I have a big pile of part-read books.

Lovely pics.
