Exhausted here from my new training! Trying to build up my stamina in the pool but it's bloody hard. Now wondering whether a duathlon might suit me better #ditchtheswim hmmmm.

Not sure about ds's elbow Bads though hard to say with a photo... some insect bites can take ages to go. I've got a bite on my shin which is still itchy three months in, and yes I do keep scratching it though I know I shouldn't. The fuckers. Ds4 has a nasty infection in a bite on his leg which has had a load of pus coming out.... nice!! Foreign insects 😒.

I've just been watching that footage of the Brownlee bros in Mexico. Nearly had a bit of a weep. Their mum must be so proud of them. Thought the SA athlete looks a right prick giving it the biggun on celebrating, the big twat. Mr C loving all the Yorkshire adulation online about it.

I have my first day at work on Thursday. arrgggggh. I'm now used to being at home. Luckily I reckon my hours even with extras will be about 70% of UK ones so it could be a lot worse.

Anyone else fed up with school stuff already? DC being disorganised about putting uniform/kit in wash, lack of communication about stuff required for 6th form, Open Evenings at both schools in the same week with both required to attend and after school sports fixtures. Oh and a hospital appointment for DD to squeeze in too.
