So anyone got any jobs or casting lined up over the hols?

Is there usually much modelling work in the christmas period?
DD only started last Feb.

DD only joined B&B in April so I have no idea either. I do imagine nothing more will happen until the new year.

OMG ive just realised that my DD will be two in 1 month and 3 days. Where has the time gone

In JL they have an insotre folder of the big items they stock but are not on display. There are 2 pics of your daughter in there from the catalouge.

Obviously I meant in Feb not last Feb.

WoW mrsratty your Dd has done fab. She has done so much in that time. Were you with anyother agencies before?

If you did where did ou see the pic again? they still havnt told the agency they didnt use DD and we have had no payment yet.

aah a "normal" thread,alot of the model work stops over xmas,but from mid jan onwards the late spring/summer campaigns are shot,or so ive been toldDD1 is waiting to hear on a job for Jan 8th but i dont suppose will hear about that til jan 3rd or so.Oh well at least all the excitement of xmas will take her mind off it.

It wasn't me, I saw a boy kicking but not your DD.

Lolly, DD really likes Hester and is soooo good when she does her hair yet she barely lets me brush it! She is fantastic at doing really funky hair.

Will post later. back at work and have done nothing today! Its piling up now though.

My dd is 15mths, beautiful and loves to pose for a camera!! and the thought of saving money for her future by doing something fun like this would be great.

hi every one ive just signed my daughter with norrie carr she had a photo shoot with them the middle of nov and they said in the letter they sent me she¬d be on wetsite within a month< is this a quite time as i don¬t know what to expect new to all this is it normally quite around christmas> can¬t wait for her to get something does it normally pick up after christmas> any info much appriciated

I would try Urban Angels, MOT, Kids London and Bruce and Brown. They are the top four london agencies and have low or no start up fees.

Yummy......I also reported seeing the C&G Posters. But only of little boy kicking. They are still up outside my local Tesco and another outside ASDA store. Have never seen one of your DD.

Totally......It's great that you had something to look forward to in the New Yr. Last yr we had 2 castings booked for after the New Yr and that was great.

Generally though everything goes really quiet now till mid Jan. This is our 4th Christmas in the job as it were.

Yummy - DD was with another agency for nearly a year before that and only had 2 castings in that time. B&B must be the right agency for her as she has had about 16 I think since starting!

Mrsratty, Thats what I meant, LoL. I have mention that the poster campaign is out without DD being used, but we have still not been paid for the job, but the company still havnt spoken to the agency. So was just wondering where you had seen the poster so I could tell them.

I saw it outside tesco in Hatfield. It was a while a go, maybe 2 or 3 months ago.

Nope Raga unfortunatly not, I am assuming that she wasnt used though , but we still are owed the money for the 2 hours she was booked for, and it seems like such a long time ago.

I havnt actually seen any Cow and Gate posters EVER, and have tried looking for it on the net becuase id like to see it, but cant find it anywhere LoL

Raga how old were your LO's when they started modelling? What age would you say is in most demand. My DD is coming into that BAD age at the moment.

Im still thinking about moving DD2 as she had only 1 job in a year and the other castings she been to she was sent by her acting agent and it was full of kids from MOT but obviously they hadnt submitted her.
Plus the model book pics she did back in July are still not up

Yummy.....Just e-mailed you again. Can take a pic of that poster if you'd like???? My DD was 5 1/2yrs old when she started and DS was 4. Best ages were up to about 7yrs. DD now in that awkard stage of not cutesy anymore but not teenager either so it's a bit slow.
