I am FREAKING out.

DH accepted a job today in our home country. We have told the kids. I have to tell work tomorrow.

He is starting in January. The DC and I will finish out the school year, sell the flat and follow.

Freaking out doesn't cover it actually. Fuck fuck fuck.

Wow, Hearts that's a lot going on, and lots of progress.

It's such a huge commitment when they're in these productions isn't it?

Seems like an easy commitment when it's a class once a week, but then the little darlings love it and suddenly whole weeks of your life are taken over.

I want to be greedy and have at least TWO meet ups before I go. But I also want to be careful not to make them all about "Hearts is leaving" because I want everyone to feel welcome even if they don't "know" me/us!

So how about one in the second half of April and then the Final Hurrah in the first or second week of July? The July one we should do on the terrace at Somerset House - that was gorgeous! Open to suggestions about the April one - what does everyone think?

Little update: the estate agents are here doing photos and floor plans this morning. The place looks fabulous if I do say so myself. Boy do we have some fugly furniture though.

When we move I am going to treat myself to some new stuff. Not too matchy-matchy and we have some lovely antiquey things inherited from various family members but my god if I NEVER see DH's old green leather reclining LayZ Boy love seat again it will be too soon.

plum date-wise you are safe - last weekend in May is DD2's birthday as well as my own and DH might be here for a few days!!!

Totes Amazeballs Hearts - I am in God's country (Scotland) for Easter and oh bollocks forgot USA fro a few days (7-12) in May - really didn't think I had that much on - but free apart from that!!!!!

We already have 3 viewings lined up for the next 3 days. Those estate agents work fast. We'll get the photos tomorrow, it's funny how excited I am to see them!

It's wonderful having a house show ready. So easy when you start from a clear base to keep it tidy every day. Beautiful flowers everywhere too. Let's hope you don't have to replace them more than once or twice :)

April is good, but we are away from second week in July for two weeks.

Double yippee - I'm online for the first time in 4 days; OK it's in a cafe with the rugby on but I'm outside with a pichet of rose and a fag, and it's raining but warm!

2nd yippee - two meet-ups timings sound good and I do like the lunchtime ones.

It is exciting getting photos when you're selling your house, you wonder if you actually live there when it all looks so 'dressed'.
