Just cleared out our booze cupboard. I kept an open bottle of vodka for cleaning but chucked virtually everything else that was open. I've no idea how long some of it has been there! Google says high alcohol stuff is ok but sugary stuff (technical term) shouldn't be kept for longer than 18 months. Does that sound right? Hardly ever drink spirits and maybe a Pimms in the summer or a Kir Royale but otherwise it's all wine and beer. So will replace stuff as and when but hopefully will remember to date it and not leave it 10 years again.
